The Super-fleet has assembled over Equestria. It is the largest single fleet assembled in the entire history of the Moboquestrian Republic and its predecessor, the Eggman Empire, combined.
Its primary goal consists of keeping the Strigiforme from taking Equestria.

As the Strigiforme have apparently slowed their attack, the ships over Novus have transmitted their AIs to the command bunkers on the surface; defense batteries and planetary shields have gone up, and the jumpgate has been moved to low orbit and disabled.

The peace treaty offer extended to the Strigiforme previously still stands.

[Meta]The hyperspace missile arrays has been loaded with a combination of nuclear weapons and 1 Goliath-class Tachyon-Subspace warhead; these are targeted on a major shipbuilding facility and are set for a proximity detonation of 5 KM.[/meta]

Th Strigiforme fleet has entered the system of Novus, and are slowly moving to orbit the Novan homeworld under their shield. [meta]The Stauros has finished its cooldown, and will be ready to fire shortly. It has kept up, and will keep up, its super shield until told otherwise.[/meta] Strigiforme fleets in the MQR have made decent progress, but have been somewhat hampered by resistance. A large fleet is being assembled a few jumps from Equestria, likely preparing to storm the system.

Error, Stauros can penetrate anything in its detonation range, which is about 1/4 a star system's size. Your AIs are not safe. Additionally, even if they were to survive, which they wouldn't, the equipment on the ship to operate the guns and such would be extremely damaged. The Stauros isn't just turning it off or making it buggy, it is legitimately destroying the inner functions of the computers beyond repair. I am assuming you have some sort of manual backup, but compared to the speed of quantum it is slow.

OOC: ACH, the command bunkers on Novus are under 2.12 kilometers (2120 meters) of dirt, rock, water, hardened armour, shielding, and just about every form of antiradiation, antiexplosive, and anti-whatever armour they can throw on it, and is probably rivalling parts of Cuuyht for security. Coupled with the planetary and city shields, the AIs down there are fine. Again, owls are powerful, but not sooper-dooper-pwn-all-instantly powerful.

ACH, bear in mind the backup systems for Novan ships are silicon-based; primitive, but faster than an organic and they work just fine. So they can still fire back just as well as you can.

As the owl fleet approached, theValkyrie-X in orbit powered up her EWAR arrays; without an AI, they weren't as effective as normal, but given the Strigiforme's less-than-amaziig computers, it hardly mattered. Throwing out radio waves, tachyons, and mass signatures, the ships of the Novan formation suddenly appead to dance around, jumping randomly, sometimes vanishing or entirely new contacts appearing.

The rest of the fleet spread out, locked targets, and waited for the Strigiforme.

Also OOC: Frankly, ACH, the Strigiforme seem to be less "powerful ancient empire" and more "whiny kid with uber-shields and a superiority complex" recently; your constant assertions you can punch cleanly through shields and hull (designed to stop radiation, funny enough) with a radiation-based weapon is just... honestly, makes you look like a spoiled kid.

Fen actually approved that Stauros could go straight through shields. Meta, you'd have to configure them correctly, but seeing as it was only fired once, it would take ages to figure it out. The thing right now is that the Strigiforme are, normally, far shittier than everyone else; their shields and numbers kept them safe, but their shite tech took them down a ton. Now, with a level playing field, they are far stronker. Remember that all the Strigiforme were was canon pre-Stauros; maybe you should have started a super weapon on page 4. Don't think that the Strigiforme haven't taken casualties; all the other worlds they are attacking with other fleets have been without Stauros, and the victories they have had were fairly close.

And bear in mind that you're attacking the nation who has a dislike or superweapons - and fighting in general - and you expect us to have built a superweapon.

The retrofit of the dreadnaught in Equestrian orbit has been completed and the Dreadnaught assigned as the flagship of the combined fleet. It has been announced to carry a NeoRoman Antimatter Coil Splicer, which, due to being powered psionically, produces massive ammounts of psionic flux, which essentially is the psionic equivalent of gamma radiation. This is to be buffered in spacial capacitors and fired upon enemies with especially designed weapons, making the retrofitted Dreadnaught, now rechristened the MQS Preservation, not only the strongest-armed ship in the Moboquestrian navy, but also the one with the most powerful psionic warfare capabilities. (note: those flux weapons act like the influence of psionic warfare, generally going through shields and affecting the crew directly)

In other news, the HARMONY psionic supwerweapon has been fired at the barrage cannon, with the aim of lowering the effectiveness of its crew, possibly to the point of making a critical error at operating it to cause it to remain unfunctional for a longer time. (OOC: all crew at the barrage cannon will have a hard time focusing on anything for at least the next 6 hours or so, I assume, taking possible psionic countermeasures and general Strigiforme non-psionicness (they're so unpsionic that it actually lowers the effect of psionics) into account)

The crew of the Barrage Cannon has been replaced by a secondary crew.

SDI forces in the MQR have been bolstered by a small fleet of Ryytils ships, which will provide stronger psionic shielding. Fleet action in Novan space has seen a halt in forward motion due to ship loss; insofar, 1/4 of Novan space is under de facto Strigiforme control(they have ships in orbit). Even now, new ships move forwards to the front.

Just so you know, the Strigiforme blitzkrieged into your spaces. They outran their reinforcements, and have temporarily stopped to let them catch up. Over the course of this, the Strig took fairly heavy, but acceptable, casualties. Also, Error, you keep comparing your protection to Cuuyth grade; this is silly, because Cuuyth is a planet. It has also had defences built up on it for thousands of years, and no expense has been spared, ever. It literally has it's own dedicated CIWS systems.
