Unless you're using FAR and sweeping back the wings has a useful effect on the aircraft's performance, I'm not terribly impressed. But hey, at least it looks awesome.

Actually, in vanilla KSP aerodynamics, sweeping your wings out will improve pitch speed, sweeping back improves roll speed, and you can swing them forward (a bit) to pull violent pitch-up maneuvers and stuff.

Maybe because jets have like zero lift production except for the jet engine on the back shoving it forward fast enough to fly.

This guy created an SSTO for his Duna lander, took it Duna, landed, took off, landed on Duna's moon, took off, flew back to Kerbin, and recovered the ENTIRE THING. I sense he will be a master of career mode... His other videos are impressive too but this...
