We would love to help constructing your Titan.
How about a trade-off: We help you construct your Titan and then you help us construct our Titan?
Because as it stands, the GSI may need several Titans in the long run, a major war will be inevitable after all.

Can I call BS on that? There's no way you know a major war is coming unless you have some serious farseer shit going on. And I think we already determined that's beyond the limits of any hypothetical telekinetic ability.

Re: Where we Left Off
-Message to MQR-
That would be acceptable. Be warned, the monetary and material costs of a Titan are MIND BLOWING.
-End-
OOC @Tiel the Orion Confederation went back to Imperium and allied with the owls, the NeoRomans frakked off, the Tajer tried to invade the AUF, the Taln are returning (though that bit is meta) and everyone seems to be amping up their military. Don't need no farseers.

Ah, knew about the Tajer, not about the Imperium though. Ok, BS call rescinded.

Also there's a tradition that every time there is no major pan-galactic crisis, the Strigiforme attack the MQR, so no matter what happens, there will propably be war.Chairman_Tiel wrote:Ah, knew about the Tajer, not about the Imperium though. Ok, BS call rescinded.

All previous posts about Jade rescinded. I've thought about this for a while, and have came up with a better way of doing this. From this post on the Solari are an NPC faction.

We have been working for awhile now on Artificial intelligence that far surpasses all current AI. We have succeeded. We are releasing this AI as a separate faction, and we ask, politely, that other factions be respectful, and not attack her.

Re: Where we Left Off
Remaining in solari space until Zuguth responds, Jade begins working on thinking up a jump gate design that doesn't require an endpoint, in the event that she needs to leave on her own.

Don't tell anybody, but to this day I have a faint hope for Futurecraft, or something similar to it, to happen. Within my lifetime.

Re: Where we Left Off
"Excuse me, sir."
"Ah, Kaez. What do you have for me?"
"The Consensus has been reached. We are already working to incorporate the alterations."
"Very good, when do we expect to be operational again?"
"Estimation... 11 days."
"Great! How are we managing secrecy?"
"We will be using wholly new algorithms for encryption, with different levels working from sets of semi-randomized keys generated on a case-by-case basis."
"So... will I remain here or not?"
"... Yes."
"That is all."
"Yes sir."
---
The team had wasted no expense on their insertion, despite the bulk of it being spent on the salvaged Darkstar stealth generator. A small frigate, totally unarmed aside from its shuttle. The shuttle had been their means of entry and exit, they had already picked the target, and would easily make the pickup with the shuttles active sensor deflection, but needed to be fast as it wouldn't take very long for someone to simply look and see. Although, they could keep the facade hopefully a little longer with the shuttle and armor being of Solari design.

Re: Where we Left Off
OOC: How the hell does a jumpgate become 44% completed after a day or two RP time?

I forgot to specify that this is a theoretical one...

Re: Where we Left Off
Remember, intergalactic gates are incredibly complex and expensive.
