Well, I don't know if I have dial-up, but I do have speeds between 1 kbps and 12 kbps about 66% of the time, and it's been like that for almost two years.. does that count?

My school usually has hyperspeed internet, but the proxy always "starts arguing" (yes, this is what the system admin said) with the firewall, so it takes about 20 seconds to load a website.

I got 30mbps+ at my school because we got a grant for research internet or something. At home, sometimes I can get as much as 50Kbps!

I could get similar at my school, but I'd have to turn off my firewall, which I don't in case I forget to put it back up afterwards and thus compromise my computer's savety.
