Research 100%
Frigates 71%

M-X-1 has been shown to be 23% weaker than the standardised titanium alloy, but 6% denser than iridium. M-X-2 Has been shown to be 3% stronger than the standardised titanium alloy but 15% less dense. M-X-2 will undergo further testing for armour in our ships. M-X-3 has been shown to roughly as strong as titanium but 15% denser than Iridium. M-X-3 Will undergo testing for projectile usage. M-X-4 has been shown to be extremely weak and approximately 3% denser than titanium. M-X-5 was unable to be transported due to it's weakness. This information has been delivered to the TFA.

Further development of RemoTek has led to production of a couple batches of specialized bots designed specifically for RemoTek, as they have a slimmer profile and are more maneuverable than most other frontline robots.

Revelations from the war games has led to several meetings discussing possible tactics for future battles simulated and not. The Fourth Fleet is also being dispatched due to its more unique focus on smallcraft.

Fleet 4 Composition
Spoiler:
2 Heavy Carriers
3 Light Carriers
10 Cruisers
15 Frigates
10 Support Corvettes
225 Fighters

Considerations taken from the victory :
Spoiler:
The reliance on speed is good for Darkstar wolfpacks,as the knife-fight against larger vessels was valuable,as they could not steer as fast as the wolfpacks. Study on better propulsions and upgrade in general are to be expected,to give even more edge at the already fast and manueverable frigates

JAVELIN torpedoes proved to be excelent to rip apart other ships, research on better versions, adding things like immunity to eletronic measures and better payload are the main priority.

The upgraded hadron cannon perfomed extremely well, bombardment fire took out most of target ships. Upgrade in this section is again to be expect.

IN short: Speed and Stealth is always good when rightly used, but its not suited for all out fleet battles or prolonged combat. Heavy research on how to upgrade stealth, sensor and engine technologies, and creation of "heavier" ships is now the focus.
To watch the next fleet battles,a group of newly formed officials from Darkstar academy is coming; This will serve as "real" battle experience, and as a final test for their graduation as officers.

Incoming ships.
10 Daniken medium cruisers [ Made to whitstand damage, they are almost "pure muscle" in terms of shielding. Carry 1 rack of 12 railguns at each side, and a spinal mounted Hadron cannon]
1 Gemini Battlecarrier [carry a complement of more than 200 fighters and bombers, and is capable of giving eletronic and aerial support - Extensive AA systems, state of the art ELINT and E-WAR suites, capable of jamming radars and the such]

--------

Cleanup of main space lanes on NeoRome systems began. Shipping services are slowly being re-estabilished by a fleet of Flapjack freighters, giving priorities to minerals and the like. [Flapjack freighters are made to be extra-fast but without too much cargo space]

The MQR will act similar to the Hexalani and send additional ships to the wargames, in order to test whether the older models are still feasible.
A part of the 1st fleet, the largest, but also oldest fleet of the MQR, has been sent.
Additional forces:
  • 2 Mobocarrier-class Dreadnaughts
    Spoiler:
these are essentially the same as the Egg Carrier-class, but it has been renamed as part of the democratization process. It has a spinal psionic cannon about three times as strong as that of a Typhoon and is generally heavier armed (heavy turrets, a large assortement of drone fighters and heavy torpedoes) than any ship in the 3rd fleet, but it is quite slow and only the spinal gun and the FTL-drive are powered psionically, the rest are supplied with electrical power from a very fusion reactor (early models did not have suitable armor arount the reactor, causeing it to get shot at and blown up in multiple occasions, refits have mostly fixed this issue, although the heat vent is still a weak point). Their hull is quite weak for its thickness, as cheap materials, aka steel, have been used, but the shields have undergone an upgrade and are on-par with modern shields of the MQR.
    4 Manta-class Battlecruisers
    Spoiler:
The manta class completely lack heavy spinal weaponry and instead relies on special turrets where the guns are located in various directions and get fired by continuously turning the turret and fireing the guns when they line up with the enemy in addition to several medium and light turrets to deliver sustained firepower. They also lack a psionic power network, with the FTL being the only component powered with psionics. These ships are even slower than the Egg Carriers although they have lighter armor and rely on their shields to avoid destruction. Most ships of this class have been destroyed in wars with the Strigiforme, which is among the reasons newer ships are designed to be fast and agile.
    6 Sawfish-class Carrier Cruisers
    Spoiler:
The Sawfish-class was originally designed as the backbone of the fleet. Their signature feature is the front mounted array of light weapons meant to shoot down fighters and missiles coming their way. The primary weaponry consists of several heavy turrets, but the ship also carries two wings of drone fighters, which is a relic of the early military philosophy by the EE to overwhelm the enemy with more fighters than could be shot down. Needless to say, the strategy was ineffective, as the drones were unable to efficiently bring down enemy fighters or bombers, so the old ones still in service have mostly been refitted into light bombers designed to launch a giant volley of warheads towards the enemy. The Sawfish class, like the Mobocarrier and Manta, does not have a psionic power network. However, its FTL is quite strong, mostly to allow it to let the Mako-corvettes associated with it jump along.
    30 Mako-class Corvettes
    Spoiler:
the Makos are light ships mainly suitable for fighter screening and are used to protect larger ships from attacks by small craft. They do not have an FTL-drive and depend on ships of the Sawfish-class for jumping. They also do not have any psionics apart from the communications equipment that all older ships have been refitted with.

I'm working on the second game now; it's tricky, considering the extent of both sides and such.

PM me for info if needed. Additionally, I feel that if England wins in the upcoming England vs Italy World Cup game, Strig-Tajer should win. Just saying, as I'm rooting for England.

The primary factor of this battle will propably be the Strigiforme shield ships.
The NeoRoman and zuguthian forces will have a hard time getting through them and fending off the remaining forces simultaniously.
While in the first battle, hit and run tactics played a major role, I believe this battle will be decided by long-term endurance of the ships.
Spinal-mounted cannons will be very rare in this battle, so the heaviest weapon at play will propably be the NeoRoman Fusion Coil splicers.

It's just a technical term for Tajer who are indoctrinated into the Strigiforme.

Research: 9%
Frigates: 87%

M-X-2: Has been tested for several things. one of them being reentry capability. To do this M-X-2 has been shaped into a standardised heavy armour shape and then deorbited. M-X-2 has shown very little deformation from heat, and the internal heat of the suit is within tolerable ranges. Next Impact tolerance was tested A firing squad with our heaviest rifles shot at a suit for 30 minutes. Moderate deformation has been noted. The armour has been cleared for usage in personnel armour. Further testing will occur for ship armour.
M-X-3: Has been shown to be a very viable solution to projectile weaponry.

Research into ion and EWAR systems has proven valuable - a prototype ion weaspon has shown a 93% effiacy when used against standard ship systems, causing shorts and auto-shutdowns.

EWAR systems have been ramped up, with two Valkyrie-class frigates having been equipped with Hermes EW-X arrays. Tests have shown the onboard A.I.s are remarkably good at infiltrating and suppressing many computer systems, and in two tests managed to turn an enemy ship's weapons in its fellows. Further tests are progressing.

Cleanup operations on NeoRome space lanes are going well. Freighter production increased to help on the demand for transport and clean operations on NeoRoman territory.

------------------

Budget is being put at the creation of a new ship,to get in the place of the old Ironshield frigate.

REsearch budget is going to the upgrade of common military technologies.
