Engineers continue to work on a design for a new class of logistical ship. Results are promising,but still nothing very advanced.

The view just didn't feel the same on a screen several kilometers below the surface of some rock in the East, at least they could've set up an office in the Research Station above, or even installed one in the Heartwriter also in orbit. The AI has begun making a small fleet of mining vessels, and has a few constructor ships in orbit. Information about the AI's fleet has not been released, however information about the AI's first ship has been shared with the TFA.

Medical ships and a construction ship have been sent to aid the NeoRomans.

The AI, Jean, has been given control over robotic arms and a set of materials. He quickly made a sword/axe-like melee weapon and started swiping wildly at everything and everyone within its range.

The colonization mission in the Andromeda galaxy has found a large amount of colony-supporting planets, and construction of cities and mines has been started on several of them. The first adventurous civilians have started moving to the galaxy.

Logistics vessels are the newest class of support vessels commissioned by Darkstar Corporation. These mammoth ships serve as an all-around support ship, combining freight hauling capabilities with field repair stations and medical facilities. They are an indispensable asset to long-range battlegroups that are expected to undergo long-term operations far from friendly outposts.

The 1st Carrier battlegroup will accompany the DSS Fortune and the DSS Jungle on their mission to the Andromeda galaxy.

Jahgrin yelled into the radio, absolutely furious. "Get relief teams down here IMMEDIATELY!" he screamed before smashing the radio against the ground. He stared at the crater that used to be the heart of Antioch. Ships were already descending into the city.

Antioch, the capital of the city, has been struck by an object nearly a kilometer long. Defenses were able to obliterate a large part of the object, preventing an X-C class Extinction Event on the planet, but the object annihilated a great portion of the metro area. Casualties are expected to be in the millions. The object was confirmed to be the wreck of the Duravell, which Holocene lost track of approximately 2 days ago. Investors have condemned Holocene for the accident; many have already withdrew their investments and cancelled their funding. If this trend continues, Holocene will not be able to continue funding its operations and will shut down. Relief efforts are ongoing right now.

In other news, Hierarch Krtiil has announced the hosting of a sector-wide wargames. These will be facilitated by NeoRome and will be based around Vortex station, headquarters of the GSI. NeoRome will organize and mediate the games from the Aurora. All nations are invited to take part; NeoRome will be sending three fleets, the First, Second, and Third battle fleets.

The Watchtower class sensor ship has been significantly downgraded after the enhanced sensor range proved too dangerous to operate in any capacity. Their prior range of 25 Parsecs has been downgraded to only 5. While this negates their original long-range purpose, it removes multiple serious vulnerabilities from the ship, including the lack of shielding, engines, and explosive tendency while the sensor is in use. The change will be completed by the end of the month.

Genetic Splicing research has jumped seemingly overnight, and the medical community is now confident that NeoRome can be purged of most, if not all, serious genetic defects in the nation by the end of the year. The first human trials will commence in one week.

The government has officially released a report concerning the incident aboard the X-3A training station that occurred earlier. The report states that the station was infiltrated by terrorist elements, who assassinated an admiral in training. L. Jahgrin, head of the security council, was close enough to the scene to stop further damages. The government has not released the assassinated admiral's name.
