As he finished the message, one of his scientists approached him. "The cloning is complete, sir," the scientist said. "The subject is awake now."

"And what of the genetic splicing?" Jahgrin asked as they entered the hallway, heading towards the cloning bay.

"Initial results are promising. We may be able to completely alter genetic code of a living organism."

"Good." Jahgrin waved his hand in front of the door and it opened. He stepped inside. On the table in the middle of the room sat a man. Jahgrin instantly recognized him as the first captured operative. He took a seat in front of him. The man stared at him. Jahgrin pulled out a data-pad, opened the redacted report on the incident, and slid it over to the man. He only glanced at it briefly, then returned to looking at Jahgrin. "This was your doing," Jahgrin calmly stated. "Explain."

"I don't answer to you," replied the man.

"I didn't ask for who you answer to. I asked for an explanation on your infiltration."

"I don't obey you."

"Who do you obey?"

"Lusten Krangax."

"Who is Lusten Krangax?"

"My master."

"Who is your master?"

"Lusten Krangax." Jahgrin stood up, sighed, and exited the room. The scientist was waiting for him.

"He's useless," Jahgrin said. "And too dangerous to keep alive."

"What do you want me to do?" asked the scientist.

"Dispose of him. But keep working on the gene splicing."

The drifting hulk of the Duravell continued to move silently through space. It hadn't been located yet, but it would be seen relatively soon. Antioch IV loomed ahead of it, growing closer with each passing hour.

The AI has shown a masculine personality, and has received the name Jean. He has imagined and described in high detail several weapon types which will be researched. He is also beginning to show great interest in biology, or rather the many creative ways one could degrade biology, especially the biology of the scientists monitoring him.

"Acknowledged Jahgrin. You are cleared to land directly at the embassy." The channel to Antioch Control shut off, and the shuttle descended through the atmosphere. The embassy loomed ahead. It was built quite a ways from the heart of the city, and overlooked it from atop a hill. The shuttle slowed down, then touched down in front of it. Jahgrin grabbed his data-pad, collapsed it, and stowed it in one of his pockets before exiting the craft. He took a look around, spotted Mayala sitting on one of the benches outside, and gestured to her as he approached her. She got up and walked besides Jahgrin towards the government building right next to the embassy.

Entering the building, May glanced around. Handing a datapad to Jahgrin, she motioned for him to read it, scanning the surrounding area.

The report displayed was dated several months ago, near the end of the Imperium;

The Gemini is a powerful addition to the Darkstar fleet. With extensive fighter-bays,it can give to a fleet a decent complement of fighters and bombers. With the lessons learned with the old but still in use Wolfhound carrier,the Gemini can manufature fighters when materials are available,recycle water and even have a small hidroponic production facility,to be away from bases for extensive periods of time. The E-War suite is design to give support on sensors,utilizing LADAR [ (LAser Detection And Ranging) ] and other methods of long range detection .

With a delicate stealth system [Based on heatsinks,can diminish the heat signature to avoid detection. If that fail,the ship can be covered in lithium doplets for imediate cooldown] it can mantain silent running for more than a day,but all system have to be powered down,as a ship of that size could not use a SIGMA_SINGULARITY without suffering from heavy energy usage at the power grid.

THe Gemini can give allied fleet AA cover with her defenses,and even attack other ships. But remember: carriers are not made for "knife-fights" with other warships.
