With great thanks to the MQR psionic ships, a psionic shield has been set up around the group of ships, but the psionic energy emitted from the planet has already made dozens of crewmembers sick, they are now being treated on the hospital ship. The diseases seem similar to the ones that have been bothering Zuguthian colonies on multiple occasions.
A team of scientists, soldiers and psionics have been deployed to the surface to find and report about whatever is emitting the psionic energy. They are already reporting of beautiful, seemingly inhabited settlements, and it seems even the ruins of old cities have been worked on to be made beautiful. All of this suggests that the cult is still operating on the planet, and the most logical conclusion at the current time is that they are behind the psionic energy. This would also explain the epidemics on the colonies. The Solari planetary bombardment frigates have been asked to stand by, should the cultists prove guilty and require annihilation.

To aid in their efforts on Menya, the Commonwealth has offered the Zuguthians a prototype Psi Jammer, a device that should prevent sny fork of psionic attack within it's range.

The planetside scouting team has been able to confirm the suspicions, and even found a copy of the High Priest's Journal, containing documentation of the cult since their conquest of Menya. It would seem that they have discovered a way of synchronizing their psionic abilities to greatly increase the range, strength and effect, and a way to use it to make people ill. This was how they managed to take the planet, and how they, in cooperation with agents spread across the Empire, managed to mysteriously infect the colonies in an attempt of revenge.

The scouting team has returned with minor signs of the psionic infection. The cultists have been accused guilty of planetary theft, attempted mass murder, as well as war crimes for use of bioweapons, and so the Solari bombardment ships have been ordered to destroy key cultist settlements from orbit. The Novan Psi jammer will then be used to create a landing zone, from which the planetside elimination of the cultists will begin.
Empress Alva Setinara has invited the leaders of the Solari Stratocracy, the Novan Commonwealth and the Mocrian Republic to a private dinner in her personal home on Zuguth as thanks for their aid, as she claims it would not have been possible without them.
The diplomatic cruiser Mariposa will be sent to pick up the faction leaders, should they accept the offer.

A number of pirate vessels have been destroyed or captured by the CSN force in the MR, and all captives have pointed to one of the Strigiforme satellite nations as the source of their funding. Intel is investigating further.

If the Zuguthians wish it, A Company of the Commonwealth Army's 5th Battalion can assist with retaking Menya.
