After eating, Mobius went for the gallery, simply because he didn't feel like going to the bridge of a ship with a homocidal AI.
On the way, he mumbled: "I hate city-ships. I had one of those, its warp drive would collapse into a black hole if you turned it on..."

Zuguth looked around the engine room, doing his usual notes and taking pictures and you know all that. Eventually, he found a storage locker of some sort.
He shouted at Solari while lifting down Val.
"Hey, Solari, I think I found something you might like."
He picked out a personal shield generator and strapped it to Val's back, and handed over a multifunctional laser to Solari.

"Hello... I'd say it's atleast 10 MW." He pointed at the wall, and pressed the activating button. it melted through it quite quickly. "Thanks" He said as he went back to warmin up by the engines.

Val nodded at him, silent thanks for the shield. Jumping atop a nearby control panel, she glanced around, seeing a glow from beyond a large window.

Curious, she wandered over, pausing to stare when she saw the source - a massive, rotating ball of... something, surrounded by rings of energy collectors. Mutely, she waved to the others, pointing to the window.

Zuguth looked over at Val, and follower her pointing to the glowy thing.
Fascinated, he drew closer.

"Now that's new" he said, and pulled up his iCore do to a quick analysis.
"The glowy ball thing seems to be generating power, somehow. No idea how. But to power a ship this size, and for this long... that must be a near-infinite energy source."
He turned to the others, hands behind his back, striking a pose of authority.
"Gentlemen, when we return I will take hold of this ship for the good of the Zuguthian Empire. I will, however, keep you updated on any scientific progress the ship would allow."

Val shot a strange look at Zuguth.

"Okay, the hat is nice and all but... who are you on about? It's just you, Solari, and myself... no "gentlemen"."

The Mobian was not discreet in his movements in the slightest. A part of her wished there was some sort of threat, some sort of monster or whatever. Her ignoring them probably got some looks, but that didn't matter. She turned her head slightly to Mobius' direction, and made sure she would be loud enough to be easily heard, "So, what brings you here."

Zuguth gave a blank, embarrassed stare, then turned back towards the glowy thing.
"No matter. Once we reach our destination, this ship is Zuguthian property. Now, you two feel free to stay here the rest of the trip, but I'm returning back to the front. I'll have to make sure Hexalan and Mobius don't make each other angry, that would be a short and one-sided fight."

Val shook her head, wandering towards the door. This was getting odd, fast. Not looking, she bumped into Solari, falling over.

Blinking, she looked up at him. "Uh...sorry. Wasn't paying attention."

"It's okay." he said, picking Val up, and setting her on her feet, very very lightly brushing a finger over her lower back.

She jumped, staring up at Solari in shock.

"Did you- wha- how-"

Pausing, she tried (and failed) to compose herself.

"Uh, thanks. You staying here?" she asked, gesturing to the door.

I just noticed it's raining.

But more importantly, just how does sexually assaulting a faction's persona translate into galactic affairs, I have to wonder? :O
