Growing restless, Val hopped to her feet, heading fore. Walking along a darkened hall, she spotted another maintenance tunnel, ahead. Pulling the panel off, she crawled in, moving off at random.

I'm aware of that as well, we have 60 iridium ship slugs from our former planets.Adrien Victus wrote:But it's also expensive. If you just want weight, use lead. You find yourself on board a city ship made by a civilization millions of years old and you eventually find people.
Perhaps I'll let the AI find you if you wish.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Mobius was on a ship. There also was a psionic field which he sensed.
He estimated that his implant would stop it from influencing him for a few days if it kept this strenght, then its beryl microcrystal-core would be depleted.
Then he'd have to rely on his psionic abilities, which meant that even if he used them all the time, he'd still be exposed to it while he was sleeping.
Very bad indeed. However, he sensed some sentient life, at least one of them something similar to psionic.

OOC: since my position is uncertain as of now, whoever is first gets to be the one I'm walking towards.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
On a corner, Zuguth almost knocked into the mobian.
"Oh. Sorry. Hi. Sorry."
Zuguth looked down.
"You're Mobius, right? I assume you don't remember getting here either?"
Mobius shook his head.
"Well, that makes.."
Zuguth thought for a moment.
"Six of us, I think? Seven? However many are on this ship.."
"So the crew aren't affected, then?"
"What? Oh, well, thing is, the crew is.. kind of gone, yeah."
"Gone where?"
"No idea. All that remains is the AI and it might have slight homicidal tendencies."
Zuguth lowered his voice to a whisper.
"No worries, though. I found this captain's hat before I turned him on and I think he thinks I'm in charge."
Zuguth holstered his pistol, looked around, and raised his voice back to a normal volume.
"Well then. I guess you're hungry?"
Mobius nodded.
"All right then, mess hall next."
Zuguth turned to the intercom speakers.
"Hey, Sagittarius, could you project a map to the mess hall?"
A hologram showed up, and the AI's voice filled the hallway section.
"It should be relatively nearby, and it is fully stocked to fill all your consumption needs. Unfortunately, I have not been able to infect your food with DEADLY POISONS AND LETHAL DISEASES, so please help yourselves to any dangerous-looking drugs or medicines you would happen to find lying around."

"I... see where you got the 'homocidal AI'-thing...", Mobius said.
Okay, can you give me a rundown on who is around besides us two?
I sensed some other people, at least one psionic.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Val shoved the cover off, leaving the maintennace tube. Looking around, she saw racks and racks of... something.
Walking towards the door, she spotted a rack of what looked like sidearms. Picking one up, she fiddled with it, finding the safety. Pointing it at the door, she fired, a bolt of something - plasma? - exiting the barrel and blowing a creater into the wall.
Pausing a moment, she grabbed a second one, searching and quickly finding a pair of holsters. Glancing about, she noted a small device, mounted on a wristband.
Putting it on, she poked it, finding the power button and trying to get something to happen. Nothing did. Giving up, she headed for the door.
Hearing something, she halted. Looking aroijd, seeing nobody, she glanced down at the thing, now shifting colours. Was it talking to he- yes. Yes it was.
Listening a moment, she frowned. There was no way this thing would do what it said it would. Well...
Jumping into the air, she twisted her wrist. With a sudden rush and a crack of displaced air, she found herself on the other side of the door, standing in a hallway.
Grinning, she glanced down at the little device. This would certainly come in handy.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
After stocking up in the armoury, Solari walked around a bit until he found one of the halls leading to the port side nacelle thingy, then took a left, then found himself not too far from the gallery, which he made his way towards.

Hexalan stood before the large orange markings, beautiful. The lights had were hitting them at such and angle that they appeared to glow, and for the moment, from an outside perspective, the grey of her eyes was orange too. She ignored the various sounds softly resounding around the halls, and simply stood there, basking in the precisely crafted work.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
"Well, we have Solari, Hexalan, Valerie, Darkstar should be around somewhere, Strigiforme has been here for a lot of time and even has a house, and there's you and me. The crew are, as previously stated, gone, and we have just looked through this small section of the ship. Who knows what mysteries are further back. I did find a station for some rail system, but there were some errors with it. After we get some food I'll go to the bridge and see if there are any.. Oh look, here it is. The mess hall."
They stepped inside, and Zuguth pointed Mobius towards the kitchen.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Val wandered back into the gallery, resuming her place in front of the window. Pondering, she pulled out one of her newly-acquired weapons and began looking it over.
