Futurecraft and the Universe
Okay I'll assume it's 2cm thick titanium then.

Solar, I want you to know that all of those pure metal layers add up to a layer-cake of shit tier armour. Iridium is brittle as hell, and a bullet impact would be like hitting a 2.5 cm thick glass pane with a sledgehammer. It's also heavy as fuck.
The titanium you are thinking of(the armour plate type) is actually a nice blend. Just saiyan.
Carbon by itself is usually coal; you should probably specify nanotubes or diamond, and diamond would only make it hard to move considering it can't bend or flex.

Clearly you've never used handwavium diamond.ACH0225 wrote:Solar112 wrote: E: Also I can't draw, even if I wanted to, but Solari's armour is basically SPARTAN shaped armour made to fit a solari, made out of a layer of iridium about 2.5 cm thick, with a layer of Titanium 1.5 cm thick, and the joints are made of a mesh that's 40% carbon, 40% Titanium, and 20 % Iridium, also there are caps covering the exterior of the joints.

I'm to lazy to specify, and I'm well aware Iridium is brittle, it's sole purpose is to add weight.

Onboard the Combine
Karth, who was sitting at the nav/com console, received Batiss' message. "Karesh," She turned to her brother, who had placed himself in the commader's chair. "Message from Mother." She passed the communique to his console as she pinpointed the location of Batiss' last subspace transmission.
"Mhm." Karesh grunted, having read the message. "Take us in, dock wherever you think is best."
Karth maneuvered the Combine onto a plate of the cityship's hull. Docking clamps set on the panel and connected. The ship's umbilical descended and made contact, sealing around an area of the hull plating.
"Good, let's start cutting."

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
The intercom speakers came to life again.
"The hull has been breached in sector B-7. I doubt the intruders are here to BRUTALLY MURDER you, so I would suggest moving out to take care of the problem."
A map of the ship, with a line leading from the command center to the place of the intruders' hull breach, was projected in the middle of the room. Somewhere along the path an armory was discreetly but clearly marked out.
"I thought.." Zuguth started, "I thought I shut you down?"
"Yes. I did not, however, agree to that, so I turned back on."
"That's.. slightly creepy, but I'll assume I just put you in standby mode."
He turned to the others.
"Hexalan, Solari, I suggest one of you stay here and wait for Val, the other one comes with me. We'll stop by the armory to pick up some weapons, for me at least, and then we'll meet the intruders. Peacefully, remember that. We do not want a war in here."
He added: "Although, if they have hurt the inner technology of the ship in a significant way, we'll release hell on them."

(Dayn hexalan left, so it's just me)
"Okay, I'll wait about 30 minutes, then head your way if she doesn't come back" He said blankly, still writing.

BIC:
Zuguth walked along the empty corridors and hallways, noting different tech as he went along.
After a bit of walking he found the armory, and was about to plug his iCore into the panel and start hacking when the doors opened by themselves.
"Oh. Thank you I guess."
Zuguth stepped inside the armory, and was stunned by the sight. The walls were filled with advanced weapons, seemingly both energy and kinetic ones, and there were four-armed suits of armor.
"Okay, I can rule out the armor fitting me. But this.."
He grabbed a small back-mounted personal shield generator,
"..and this.."
He grabbed a plasma rifle,
"..and these.."
He grabbed a kinetic pistol and a holster,
"Should do just fine."
He left the armory and looked up at the nearest speaker.
"Sagittarius, if you can hear this, then lock the door to this armory, make sure no one gets in unless I authorize it."
Then, adjusting his captain's hat, he moved along down the corridor.

Val wandered into the gallery, nodding at Hexalan, before sitting down in front of the window. Deep in thought, she barely noticed the clang of something latching onto the hull.

"Fuck this shit." Taln thought to himself, and retreated to a far off corner of the ship to be alone.
The end.

Seeing as val hasn't returned, solari decided to go look around a bit. "Uhm. excuse me, Mr. AI, but would you happen to know if there's an armoury near here?"

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
A holographic map projected in the middle of the room.
"There is an armory relatively nearby, however the new captain, the one you call Zuguth, has requested me to restrict all access to it. But if it will help the INEVITABLE DESTRUCTION OF ALL PATHETIC LIFEFORMS, I will gladly point you to the nearest unlocked one."
A room lit up on the hologram, not too far away.

"Seeing as I'm bored, I'll gladly help with the complete destruction of everyone else." Solari headed off to the armoury, found a light personal sheild generator, 250 MJ, and attached it to his back. he also found a 25x68mm HE pistol.
