Taln glanced around, unsure what to do. He had never seen the strange owl creature before, though he strongly resembled Uncle Conhas...that was such a long time ago, though. He shook his head and decisively pivoted on a talon to follow.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Hexalan heard the others make their decisions. After trying her entire life leading up to now to improve and perfect the Strigiforme principles, especially after ending up with quite the utopia if she said so herself, that he'd at least take notice. She returned to the situation: locate an alternate route to the tram. However, she couldn't help herself, and released a quiet chuckle. This was puzzling, as there was nothing humorous among the perfectly plain halls.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Val shot an odd look at Hexalan as she rounded a corner.
Turning to Zuguth, she hopped up onto his back and inquired, "So are you actually looking, or just trying to get away from grandpa?"
Zuguth shook his head. "Actually looking. The tech here is amazing. It's almost familiar, too."
Turning another corner, he stopped; a massive door faced him. Activating the controls, it slid open silently. Staring, he stepped inside, his gaze sweeping the room. A large space, with various terminal scattered about; a huge, illuminated table in the center.
Val hopped down and looked around in wonder, scampering up a nearby support strut for a better look. Below, Zuguth picked a terminal, pulling the cover off and linking his iCore to the wires inside. Val dropped down, jogging back towards the rest of the group.
"Hey! We found something!"

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Hearing Val, Hexalan turned around, assuming a quick pace. She approached Commonwealth, "What is i-" she looked upon the room, and completely ignoring Val, walked in, gaze fixed on an oddly shaped terminal.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Solari, sapcing out while finishing the story of Gulomihr, realised everyone was leaving, he ran up towards where Hexalan, Zuguth and Val went. Upon catching up to the group he noticed the terminal that Hexalan was fixated on. "I've got a bad feeling about this" He mentioned as his pulled his rifle off his back, and pulled a magazine out of his bag, then loaded it into the gun.

Hexalan stopped dead in her tracks, sensors picking up Solari. She drew her gun, and remaining faced to the console, pointed it at his head. "Don't. Fucking. Try it."

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Val slowly stepped between the two.
"Guns down, please? We just found something important-lookkbg, let's not spoil the moment?"
Seeing something, she shot a glare at both and scamoered off towards the centermof the room, intent on a panel near the plotting board.

Unseen to the others, Hexalan blinked. She then slowly turned to her outstretched arm, observing the firearm, "Uhm, apologies..." and put it back to its place. Removing her helmet, she approached the terminal. It lighted up fully at her presence. The text on its keys were familiar, bearing strong relation to Proper Carthaic, or, more likely, it is the other way around. A visibly larger button was among them, and she felt compulsions to press it, but decided not to yet, instead facing the veritable technomancer, "Zuguth, can you find out what systems this is connected to?"

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Zuguth barely looked up, replying, "That should be... either engineering, or power distribution."
Across the room, Val pulled the panel up, opening a hole in the floor. Through it was anither crawlspace. Slidibg down into it, she headed foreward, glancing around at various pipes and wires as she did so.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Hexalan lightly nodded at Zuguth's remark, then began to attempt reading the characters, starting with the large button. It was two letters, predictably On and Öf, backed up, of course, by her linguistic knowledge. The issue, then, was distinguishing its state of activation.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Val shook her head.
"Frankly, it's probably just as safe as up there. More so, as it's hard for anyone taller than me to even fit in here."
And with that, kept crawling.

"I see." He said, then turning to Hexalan, solari cautiously stated that he wouldn't recommend touching the buttons.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Val crawled a bit further, but hit a dead end. Doubling back, she emerged on the command deck, seeing Hexalan gazing at the controls.
Slightly alarmed, she stepped forwards, a cry escaping her.
