Val raised an eyebrow at Hexalan, still on the owl's back. Shaking her head, she jumped down and darted down the hall.
Turning, she gestured to the group. "If I'm right, there's a mess hall... of sorts... down this way. Because most of you don't eat what grandpappy does."

OOC: Wouldn't a city ship have a city somewhere?

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
((Probably, but the dimensions he gave are far too small to be a city ship, so we'll just assume he meant a generation ship))
"Tch well since everyone else is leaving, I'm going to go follow val, and see exactly what kind of food they have since I'm not exactly a fan of your cooking." Solari rushed towards val.

OOC: how large is is supposed to be? I thought I read 25 km long somewhere. Manhattan is less than 100 square likometers.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
((In my map it's 6530 m wide, and 23600 m long, but that's because I had a hard time scaling up the shape of the ship to meet the exact specifications error said. Oh and error are these dimensions okay, I'll fix it if it's not.))

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
((Doesn't need an actual city as in skyscrapers and stuff, but yeah some sort of Tokyo hotel capsule system somewhere would make sense.))

OOC, cityship as in has the internal capacity of. It's a generational ship, essentially. 23.6 klicks long and 6300 meters wide is lots of space for crew and passengers.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
OOC: Space skyscrapers are cool though.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
OOC, Right. I want to test a new idea out here. Solar suggested this, so:
The ship we are aboard is, as of now, generating a low-level psionic field. It will, over the next in-game week or so, drive most characters insane. Psi-immune or -resistant species are, well, immune and resistant, and anyone with military training counts as resistant.
Your characters (still under your control) will start to behave erratically, or start talking to thin air. And stuff. AFAIK only a few are totally immune, but most of ye should be resistant.
This might show up in my next RP, sk I'm going to try it out here and see how things go.

"Well, gramps, if you don't mind I'd like to go explore this ship some more. This might be one of the most important scientific discoveries in our time and I'd like to study it more closely."
He turned to the others.
"If anyone wants to join me then you are free to do so, but don't expect it to be interesting unless you're into archaeology. Also I have dibs on the captains hat if we were to find the control room."
He turned back to Strigiforme.
"And don't worry gramps, I'll join you in your house for something to eat later."

Good thing the Strigiforme are psionically on par with rocks.
"Alright, go explore then. I made some merengue and some strawberries, so we might have Eton Mess." Strigiforme said as he walked down a hallway.

Val turned to Strigiforme. "I think I'll go with him. Who knows? We might find something fun."
With that, she turned and trailed after Zuguth.
