You are forgetting that Proto is trying to achieve an accurate Metal Gear REX replica.
Not to mention that multi-person mechs appearently don't work.

Well if it wasn't a single seater, and ignoring the fact passenger turrets don't work on mechs, I could have someone control the * turret.

And shadow, those are two cannons rendered in the same place, but they'll get replaced later.

Leg height/proportions are canon, however I'm opting to use a slightly taller stance than what Rex actually stand like for the sake of not looking like it's about to tip over.
