Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Zuguth entered the temple-ish room a moment after Val and Hexalan, and started taking pictures.
"The technology and design used on this ship is different from almost anything else I've ever seen, but it seems religion never changes."
He picked up one of the religious books, and started quickly photographing the pages.
"With a bit of luck the iCore might be able to translate the text, but since we don't have any keywords it'll probably take some time."
He turned to the others.
"So, should we try to find that rail station or keep exploring the ship? Anyway I suggest we stay together, there's no knowing what else we may find here."

Val shrugged at Zuguth. "If you want to keep lookin', we can do that. And by the way, the doors are not tongue-activated. Just swipe them."
She demonstrated, running her hand down the panel. The door opened, and she gave Zuguth a slightly amused look.
"I doubt they meant fir you to lick it, mate."

"Well, if we get to the rail station it might have some info on the ship, what rooms are where, stuff like that. And it's a million years old ship, tongue scanning might have been a valid option for them."
Before leaving the room, he faced Hexalan.
"So, are you coming with us or are you gonna hang out by yourself?"

Hexalan turned to Val, "Well, it seems to be... some sort of plasma tool, I'd recognize the sound anywhere, but I can't tell whether it's cutting or welding. Both prospects are frightening." Facing Zuguth then, "Right behind yah." She gave a slight smirk.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Val rolled her eyes and followed Zuguth out into the hallways.
"So when we find it, do you have any clue how you're going to get the rail thing to work?" she asked Zuguth, jumping up onto his back and crouching on his shoulder.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
Zuguth gave out a surprised cough as Val landed on his back.
"Getting it to work will be the easy part. I think. There are some universal constants that eventually exist in all civilizations, and magnetic rail systems are one of them. I'll just find a terminal, or even cut a hole in the wall, and connect this thing," he took out a small piece of tech from his bag, "to a couple wires, and I should hopefully have wireless control of the rails from my iCore. Of course, this is assuming that the terminals controlling the network are down, which I actually doubt they are."
(OOC: I will go to sleep now, got exams tomorrow, so just NPC my char.)

//Solar's character is 2 meters tall. With tentacley bits. And literally no neck. I'mma say cats.

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
((Probably cats, however I beleive you'd've heard the plasma tool well before the footsteps.))
Solari continued down the hall until he reached the other group, that was exiting a large room, he made a few notes on his note pad, then continued to follow the group.
((He also weighs around 300 kg in his armour... so there's that.))

That's weird. I could have sworn the Solari were cosmeticallydifferenthumans last I checked. Was supposed to be solar :P

Re: Futurecraft and the Universe
I've never really posted anything as to the biology of the Solari, so I don't blame you.

Raising an eyebrow, Val commented "S'long as you can find the right button to poke, I guess."
Looking over at Hexalan, she queried, "Could the almighty warrior cover us while Zuguth here fiddles with wires?"
