Catholic mythology an it's offshoots are a complete fuck storm of illogicalness. Supposedly god hates us but yet we worship him? God hates us but yet we pray to him despite the fact that if we does exist why the fuck should he give a damn about you over the seven billion other humans? An if you think about it, if Noah saved only two animals and his family, where did plants come from? And doesn't that mean everything is inbred now?

I'm sticking to my theory that religion is a government population control program.

Actually, until the death of Cesar, Rome was a Republic with voting conditions similar to those of the US when they became independent.
There also were some semi-democratic Greek city-states some time earlier.
Around 0 AD, Rome was an Empire, but the Senate and other elected bodies still existed.
There is an actual conspiracy theory that the Romans were responsible for the legends of Jesus being spread, with the initial goal of breaking Judaism apart, since they kinda were scared of the Jews for political reasons or something.

Half the Bible isn't even "correct". It's a fact that political leaders from all over Europe got together after the deaths of the apostles and literally voted on what they wanted to keep, throw out, make up, and change in the Bible. BAM. Nothing taught from the Bible can be proven and guess whose making tons of money off it? Guess who claims to speak to God? Guess who supposedly supported Hitler in WW2, proving the last claim wrong? Guess who tells people to worship "saints" instead of God? The Pope. I can't stand the Catholic Church.

First of all, no one has taken Genesis literally since the 4th century. Second of all, who ever said he cared more about one person or another? I don't see much of an argument here, other than 'bad things happen, why does God allow them?' which is probably the oldest thing ever.

Also, lol @ 'government population control,' have you ever seen a non-C&E Catholic family?
