Seriously there were at least five much better stories that they could've done.

In the end companies just don't give a shit about lore. Take Star Wars, for example, or even Star Trek.

Frankly, I ignore the bits that are just REALLY whack in lore.
Like NX-01 in Star Trek, for example, and Star Wars EU is frakking canon, right? Right.

I am no longer sure what is canon in Star Trek anymore tho.
Not after the two last movies.

I've only watched the first one of those, but aren't they just in a different timeline?Ivan2006 wrote:I am no longer sure what is canon in Star Trek anymore tho.

Don't tell anybody, but to this day I have a faint hope for Futurecraft, or something similar to it, to happen. Within my lifetime.

I'm kinda insecure until they actually make a series back in the ORIGINAL timeline.

Star Trek has always gone for time travel and stuff like that that really screws around with canon. That's one major thing that Star Wars has historically had over Star Trek. Disney has trashed that now, of course.

Jedi, don't worry about them, they're not important.
Remember the prequels? Me neither.

Re: She's watching.
Revenge of the Sith was good. Better than Return of the Jedi, anyway. There wasn't really anything wrong with Attack of the Clones, either. The only movie that was actually bad was The Phantom Menace. That just made everyone decide the other prequels were crap because the first one had been.Icelandic Perehelion wrote:Jedi, don't worry about them, they're not important.

Re: She's watching.
Phantom Menace has Liam Neeson in it, automatically better than ep2.
Also wasn't Spielberg originally supposed to direct ep6?
In a gaming note, star trek games have traditionally sucked, star wars has churned out some pretty good ones.

Confession bear: I liked the Star Wars prequels.
I also didn't hate Indiana Jones 4

Re: She's watching.
I liked the new ST movies, but never really been that interested in lore. Watched some of Voyager, but TNG is by far the best series IMO.

I myself liked Enterprise a lot until they went into the third season. Then things just got weird.
