Ok, so for the past week I've been staying up ~36 hours at a time, and then sleeping 12 hours. So far I feel fine, could I have permanently adjusted my sleeping patterns? It averages to 6 hours of sleep a day, but I remember seeing some thing saying that only part of your recommended 8 hours 'counts' and that about 40% is sort of wasted, am I getting the equivalent of 16 hours with 12? Anyone know anything about this?

Guys you're over reacting, just throw holy water on it and recite the bible until you kill it.
On to topic. For short term I'm sure you're fine, CMA, but I wouldn't recommend doing this for any sort of long term period. But I'm also not a doctor, so I don't know.

I'm not trying to, it just keeps happening. Point taken though.

I was up for 59 hours a while ago, I could probably have said the alphabet but I started seeing waves of rainbow-y static come off of my hands when I moved them right before I fell asleep.
