TELLrim is one of the factions the UGF is based off, Strigiforme are there because owls and NSCD are there because reasons.
Also got some better designs for the rail arsenal, sniper (as above), assault weapon and heavy infantry weapon (so an MG but I don't think I'm allowed to say that)

Also, I can see how you'd say 3d modelling is less difficult. It'd be pretty easy by comparison to whip up something like that in 3DS. Can't imagine how you're doing that with boxes
