The Strigiforme, unable to smile, remained stony faced. A small device near his ear buzzed lightly and he appeared to be listening intently. Then, he stood.
"Though brief, the talk has been nice. I'm holding a dinner, and you're invited. I do hope you'll come; so many of your friends will be there, and they'll be ever so glad to see you."
He departed without another word. The carrier began spilling its fighters out, the strike craft being disgorged rapidly. On the Imperium's 2nd Fleet, the Strigiforme self-destructed the explosives implanted in their bodies, destroying the generators and command systems. A few weapons systems were under manual control, but most were disabled, and the ships were disabled quickly.
The anomalous force out up more of a fight. The orbital defences, honed by years of Strigiforme paranoia, began ripping into the ships. The destroyer, a vast mass of weaponry, dove directly into the formation, its' ultra-heavy Strigiforme model shields absorbing all the hits. The rest of the 7th Fleet began to take up formations, with Shield Ships protecting the carrier and the frigates and carriers attacking the enemy ships.
On the carrier, dozens of Strigiforme special forces squads patrolled around. The cell played host to not only the heavily shackled Imperator, but also a Special Forces squad with a portable light shield unit which completely surrounded the Imperator, making it impossible to say, cut the floor out beneath him. A marine platoon took up formation in the surrounding corridor, their heavy weapons making the path unwalkable. A final measure was taken; the spaces between rooms and empty corridors were vented and filled with radiation, making passage near impossible.
The Strigiforme Leader took up position at a dias in the CIC, looking imperiously down on the Strigiforme below.

Having recieved the coordinates, Envoy descended gently to her landing site. Markus stepped out, looking around for his (presumed) escort.
He wore his collared shirt and trousers of office, with his long travelling cloak overtop and a dress sword on his belt.

Re: Faction infos and propogandas.
A large frigate arrived just over the Strigiforme capital world, lightly armed and pulsing, distorted, by countless layers of shields. Behind it jumped in two NeoRoman dreadnoughts; the recently completed Gladius Imperius and the older Opravian. Both were extremely armed and very advanced. Neither of them had participated in the fight with the Imperium; the Gladius was completed just after the final battle, and the Opravian was occupied elsewhere. But they kept the shield fix. It would be extremely useful otherwise. They scanned the immediate area for threats before the frigate proceeded further towards the Strigiforme capital. The frigate sent a small signal back to NeoRome, heavily encrypted, before the dreadnoughts proceeded along with the frigate and took up positions above the meeting site.
"Cuuyth Control, this is the N.R.S Halogen, requesting a flight path to the capital. We have the Head of Security L. Jahgrin aboard."
"Affirmative," squawked back the Strigiforme. "You are cleared for vector 7786-J, docking area 8. Will you require transportation?"
"Negative, we have a vehicle to get to the meeting area."
"Roger. And your escort will be staying in orbit, I hope?"
"That is right. The Gladius Imperius and the Opravian will be holding above the planet. Apologies for the extensive security."
With this, the frigate entered the atmosphere and began to descent to the docks.

Re: Faction infos and propogandas.
Security is being upped massively in Cuuyth, with several military deployments all over both the capital city and the capital world. The shields around the system are prepared to be deployed at any time. Several battalion of Ryytils have also been deployed.

Everyone is there, and Fen is writing I think. I sincerely hope Cuuyth's star isn't destroyed. I'm pretty sure in a prior RP it was established the whole system is protected with a shield, and that Strigiforme shields are as OP as they need to be(original RP with chaos god).

Very nice. So..do we post our diplomats' reactions here, or does Fen wing it? 'Cause personally, it would be fun to act all this out.
Also, is it custom for Strigiforme to wear dress weapons, for either looks or killing the meat to stop it escaping?

Re: Faction infos and propogandas / Empires RP
The Ambassador sighed, relieved the Owls are not that weird. He enjoyed the meat along with his relatively small glass of Iyllkai, only hoping the what came next would be sensible as well.
When his creature was brought out, he did similar to the Novan, retrieving the large combat knife from his holster's knife slot. Quickly dispatching the noncombatant, he began to tentatively eat it, warily scanning the room to see the others' responses. At this point Varkas began to worry what else they had in store for them.
While waiting for the next course, he took the time to observe the odd construction in greater detail. Strigiforme design was probably the most alien to him, hell, they're probably the only really alien looking race, even the space cats look somewhat normal. Upon reception, Heilream immediately took to the pastry, reminding him of one of the traditional meals of his people. The plant was a tad frightening at first, but he managed to get past the appearance and enjoyed the flavor. Now, the owls felt a bit less foreign, contented by the pies.
The leaves were a bit much for him, and took a small bite now and then, but overall taking in the scenery.
He rejected the plant in favor of a mint from the pack he carries around.

Sitting back and sipping his drink, Markus contented himself with observing the other guests.
Looking up, he noted a Strigiforme in the ceiling's architecture. Cautious race. Glancing around, he noted several attendees looked almost ill. Raw meat? Living meat? Meat in general? Who knew. Sipping his drink again, he approved. Maybe checkmwith his aide about getting a bottle for the House.

OOC: well, this is easy.
BIC:
Being a 3 meter tall 5 tonne robot is not ideal for dinner parties.
Omega, due to lack of a functioning digestive system, opted to quietly incinerate the first course out of view of the hosts.
The second course seemd odd, Omega thought it was a joke, until he witnessed the other guests dispatching their creatures. As Omega's was in the process of buggering off, he opted to reach out and grab it, firing the claw on his left arm out, startling a few of the other guests. A minor misjudgement of pressure resulted in the little bugger being crushed entirely. It was promptly incinerated out of view of the hosts.
The pie utterly confounded Omega, but felt unable to incinerate it in the same manner as the previous two courses. Omega attempted to eat it, the Lamentor design, oddly enough, possessed a functional mouth and oesophagus, and a small containment region. The pie was stored here for later incineration. This was much to the amusement of the few guests aware of Omega's incineration habits.
Omega managed to avoid the fourth course by claiming to be intolerant, nobody asked what to.
Nobody knows what happened to the plant.
Omega attempted to ingest the drinks, however the heat from his internal reactor caused the stuff to combust, causing Omega to belch fire. The owls found it amusing.
At this point Omega regretted not sending a Skytherian ambassador.

OOC, fire breathing robots FTFW.
BIC.
Markus leaned forward, directing his comments to the owl at the head of the table.
"Apologies for my bluntness, but I believe we were originally to discuss the matter of the Imperator? And, by exte sion, your hijacking of a Novan hospital ship?"

Re: Faction infos and propogandas / Empires RP
Jahgrin leaned forward after finishing parts of the plant. He handed off his dinner-ware to the servants and pressed a few buttons on the control panel on his arm, which was hidden by his suit. He did this very discreetly. A few second later, a small voice activated in his head. "Scan complete. Warning: Unsafe levels of Alcohol present in system. Decision making may be impaired." Jahgrin was satisfied by this and leaned back again. He turned towards the Strigiforme leader. "Apologies for my bluntness," said Markus who was opposite of him, "but I believe we were originally to discuss the matter of the Imperator? And, by extension, your hijacking of a Novan hospital ship?"
The Strigiforme leader chuckled and stood up. He had everyone's attention at this point. "Of course we are," he replied, chuckling. "I thought it'd be polite to treat you to dinner first!"
"The disappearance of the hospital ship is indeed strange," Jahgrin said somberly, "but there is no evidence that it was the Strigiforme's fault. He very well could have had someone on the inside."
"Thank you, Jahgrin." The leader looked around briefly, and the metal part of his beak flashed momentarily, reflecting the distant lights of the room.
"If I might inquire," Omega said in a robotic tone, "why there is a significant collection of debris in orbit? You weren't attacked at all."
"But we were," replied the Strigiforme leader. "Imperium fleet attempted to liberate the Imperator. It didn't go so well."
"It's very suspicious," affirmed Jahgrin. "But not on our agenda." He took a small sip of his drink. "We want the Imperator to pay for war crimes against NeoRome. He has killed 200 billion citizens by his command."
"We could certainly handle the redemption, Jahgrin," replied the Strigiforme. "But if you insist, what are you willing to offer in exchange for the Imperator?"
"I didn't think this would be a bargaining deal," stated Heilream Varkas, clearly annoyed.
"If you would prefer it, I can state precisely what we want," stated the Strigiforme leader, staring at Varkas with an annoyed look in his eyes.

"By all means," Markus cut in before Heilream could speak. "I'm sure none of us want to be here all day, arguing pointlessly. And apologies for my assumptions, but the Imperator was aboard the hospital ship. We lost the ship. The Imperator is here. This is basic reasoning, and unless your middleman takes exception to being cut out, the Strigiforme hijackingnthe vessel is the logical explanation."
He sat back, folding his arms. "Although, do compliment your chef on the meal."

As the dinner had already started, the Moboquestrian Empress announced she "would not have gone to a dinner with genocidal carnivores anyway", reacting to the lack of invitation to the MQR.

This is what happens when your router decides to be an asshole and connect you to the internet about once in a blue moon. You miss dinner invitations from an empire as meat-loving as your own, possibly even more.
BIC: The Empress of the Zuguthian Empire returned to her position earlier today after being trapped in a mountain cabin buried under several meters of snow for almost a week. Upon returning she found that she had been invited to a dinner meeting, along with almost all other empires of the galaxy, by the Strigiforme Empire. Her reaction to missing this dinner has yet to be made public.
