Success. Just finished the Temple ship mission, with no losses except the volunteer. Final squad:

Col. Cory "Smash" Adams, Canada (Volunteer)
Col. Amy "Strings" Harris, Australia
Col. Fenway "Viking" Ash, France
Col. Markus "Bonus" Error, Portugal
Col. Vinyl "Claymore" Scratchovski, France
Col. Ivan "Brick" Kintobor, France

Ivan managed the last shot on the Uber Ethereal, with a blaster launcher glowy green ball of exploding. Thoughh kudos to Vinyl for the headshot and 3 normal shots that brought it down a fair bit. Also, Vinyl pulled an Angel of Death on one of the two sectopods earlier. Fenway blitzed the other one.

Why do you have so many Colonels? That's a pretty terrible way to organize an army.

Good, good. Now do it on impossible Ironman without losing a soldier, country, mission, or UFO.

That's next up. Though I have to say, scrambling for the EMP cannon certainly helps. It two-shots everything.

@CMA I prefer all Colonels to all redshirts.

Started a game of Enemy Within.

Managed 3 abductions, 2 UFOs, and am halfway through a terror mission. Normal with some of the Second Wave stuff enabled. Two gene-moddeds, one MEC (who really should sound more Scottish, but soldier languages don't seem to work).

Again, if ye wants a dorfing, say so and ye shall be recruited and trained up. And probably won't die.

Languages work, accents don't.

Also, may I suggest the Long War mod?

Finn is a rather common name in Norway, although admittedly not so much in Sweden. Maybe he had Norwegian parents?

I have no LP experience but I can record it, unless you REALLY want to hear me talk about it.

And vinyl, you want to be a hunky African too?

I'll do it at first without my beautiful voice, thank you.

Also, I can't do the impossible ironman unless you want to watch me fail at the first mission time and time again. I'll stick with classic.
