I got really excited when I saw on the PM page that they were up, but it turns out it's just a white listed 1.5.2 server called Paradise or some shit. Was pretty upset.

I now know how to pilot any air vehicle effectively. This is good. I also have built mock-ups of the most efficient hyper-hardened base I can make. My plan here is to begin the full fortification of our base, with the end goal of being hardened enough to withstand sustained non-nuclear bombardment. The base will likely become layered hardened concrete, and have levels at far lower depths. These layers will ideally contain our most valuable hardware; armoury, power generators, heavy machinery, ect. We should also begin work on an aerofleet, through which we can rapidly attack and defend. Above ground defences could also be considered; while they would reveal us, they would also open up new power possibilities, and enable us to have a proper runway and missile launchers. Finally, we need to scout enemy bases, the most prudent option of which would be to use the Tracker, which points to a selected entity.

Tl;dr- our base needs to lift and get big and stronk.

From what I understand, he paid them for the IP, but they had already given it away. So at the moment he's paid for an IP he can't use and is arguing with the host company to sort their shit out.

I'm not sure this is 100% correct but I do know he's having to argue with the company.

I've told him to do this, if they don't then he can threaten legal action if they've accepted his money and don't refund.

But he paid for it almost instantly, the IP got given away a few days after, I think he's gone and paid and they've gone and given it away after he paid for it.

Why are servers so fraught with problems? The server host people should just give him a little extra time with the IP because of the hassle and let him have a new IP.

They gave him a new IP but it was defective and didn't work, so he's fighting to get a working one.
