The construction of Vortex Station has commenced. Rather than being built in one piece, modules are being individually assembled across NeoRome and then brought into position, where it will be connected to the station core.

The Core Technology Chamber, the most heavily armed and armored section, has already been completed and brought into place. NeoRome has already mounted many various pieces of classified and highly advanced technology on the station, such as the Positronic Data-Core. The core is composed entirely of anti-matter, and is therefore nearly impossible for any nation or party to gain control of. It is therefore extremely secure.

In other news, the Antioch Research Complex has recently unveiled a new, incredibly strong alloy. The alloy was synthesized from a combination of the Neotitanium alloy and Arconium, which was successfully contained and stabilized from recent breakthroughs. The alloy is extremely heavy, and therefore useless in ship construction. It is expected that the alloy will replace the NeoTitanium armor that is planned to cover Vortex station.

A raid on the Omega-Javron Shipyard was recently pushed back by NeoRoman security forces. These ships are theorized to have come from a recently-activated ARK Station, due to their strange construction and design. The activation of an ARK station is the highest-level offense in the Beta Aquiline convention, which has been accepted by most nations. A task force is being mobilized to find the station and deactivate it before it causes serious damage.

Fenway has said goodbye to the SDI and made his own alliance, focusing on science.
He is now constructing a giant research facility for the science to happen in and has announced to try and acquire some objects of which other factions hold a monopoly.
He has offered an interesting deal to me already, tbh.


BIC: The Moboquestrian Republic has alerted its forces in the face of a potential threat by an ARK activation and encourages the Cavnin allies to do the same.

After a string of negotiations, the Moboquestrian Republic has authorized the installation and use of a high-quality psionic device aboard Vortex Station. Details about the device are classified, but the device will be available for experimental use on Vortex.

The activated ARK station has been traced to the Koprulu sector approximately 50 Parsecs away from NeoRome, now nicknamed "Ojihan." The NeoRoman task force is planning on shutting down Ojihan via the removal and recovery of the Deep Core, using technology obtained from ARK-1's deep core, which housed PRIME-1. Should the recovery be successful, the technology will be studied and eventually merged with the computer systems aboard Vortex. With a pacified ARK station, the entire station can be extensively studied and technology extracted without fear of retaliation from the PRIME series.

Should the effort fail, the core will be destroyed via Antimatter explosives, and the recovering of other tech will continue. All results of this endeavor are open-source, and any scientific gains will be freely shared with members of the GSA.

I don't know. It may just be a plot device thing that would make it kind of a difficulty for him to remain in the SDI. Or being in the SDI would keep him from doing story-related stuff.
Considering we haven't even agreed on/discussed what timeling we're using, I can't even be sure my very vague assumption would even be valid...
Or it may just be what he says: He (as in NeoRome) wants to not have to do with the anti-pony policy of olws.
