Really, how do they assume people will get caught for crime when you can just quicksave and not be caught?
Didn't say I paid the fines. I just wanted to see what they were. I let them actually take me to jail once, too, but I broke the lockpick and then reloaded the save. I've fought them to the death a couple of times as well.

I see. Carry on, then.

I got 300,000 coins in fines once, it was pretty funny, imperial city was fairly empty.

I maxed out my Pickpocketing skill today. I can now steal the clothes that people are wearing. The Thalmor guards manage to retain their arrogance even when wearing nothing but their loincloths.

Were there a way for me to steal more, have no doubt that I would. I'm working on a collection of Hold Guard uniforms and I want it to be as complete as possible. I hope they regenerate their clothes at some point, though--I robbed the guard who stands right outside my house, and I'm getting tired of looking at him every time I go home.

I guess I should be happy I'm not the only one that does this?
Though I take the uniforms from guards that have already died.

Killing isn't the solution to all your skyrim problems.
Wait nvm it sorta is, I guess.

I can't seem to kill giants. I can get them down to maybe half health in the time it takes them to reach me from maximum reasonable arrow range, but then they OHK me. I've managed to avoid them so far, but now I've got a quest to kill one, and I don't know how. My flame atronach does a lot of damage to him, but then it gets OHK'd, too, and even a full-strength Unyielding Force doesn't keep him down long enough for me to finish him.

Try climbing rocks he's too big to climb. That's what I always did; that and run away.

How to kill a giant:
Step 1: You don't. It cannot be done.
Step 2: Go kill an ancient flying terror being with thick scaled skin, teeth and claws sharp as daggers and a voice that can burn down cities instead, and make sure to absorb its very soul later so it can't get back to life.

With skyre it's perfectly plausible to kill a giant.

Rly ? I kill giants easily without mods , it only works with ranged characters though, naturally as I doubt you are supposed to survive that giant mace of theirs' in your face.
