Guns are good, but I'll have to flip them on their side so they don't clip into the rest of the mech, as currently the model is the same for left and right hand, but that's not biggie.

OK, I've definately overshot on size, current height is 16 blocks, and there will likely be another 3-4 added on when I make the legs...
for reference the madcat I showed you is 17 blocks high, Fafnir could end up being 20 or so...

And overshot measurements with the legs again (had to make them bigger to account for the larger body), now looking at 22 blocks in height.
However the legs are looking quite blocky, I think they'll be ok when I round them off but there's not much detail on them, might just do that with the texture.

The coolest thing about really large mechs is that they are really intimidating.
Also, @proto, played around with the latest release I could find, and the D-8 and the rocket pod both crash the game when fired.
It can't be a compatibility issue AFAIK, as I have the latest/last version of Forge for 1.6.4, the latest download of Flan't mod, the current version of the simple parts pack and the FC-pack and NOTHING else.
Maybe bugfix or take them out until you found a source of that problem.

Well aware of that one, all it is is I forgot to set the model to fc.missile rather than just missile, due to folder restructures.

It wasnt meant to be that big, just buggered the proportions up when I was designing it.
