Not too sure if cyber elves are psionics, they work pretty much the same except the mind is artificial.

You've got psionics in Starcraft. You've got the humans gifted with the powers, you have zerg who are very sensitive to psionics, and you have the Protoss who run on psionics (And Psi). They can create blades from this energy.

Protoss are photosynthetic. So really, the Protoss vs the Zerg infestation was the first Plants vs Zombies.
