AF-12 standard texture finished, just sorting out a few points on the model then I'll make woodland, desert and arctic variants.

Right, AF-12 alt textures nearly done, once that's finished I'll just sort a few bugs out and release the packages.
Which brings me onto the next competent, Mercury's tank.
Now the tank will use a lot of shoeboxes, and I realise I overestimated shape boxes in terms of their usefulness, they are a godsend for making a good model, but they are * for making said model have a good texture. I think I have a few workaround a though, which I'll try, the tank doesn't need the kind of detailed texture shape boxes prevent, it should be ok (though I have to put the passenger turrets on the main turret now, minor oversight).
But the problem is, I wanted to do a big mech next, and the few designs I was given would rely heavily on these shapeboxes, if my texture workaround works, that's great, I'll go ahead and build Mercury's design, if it doesn't, don't worry, I have a plan B:
But anyway, the big mech is going to be big (duh), slow, armed with specialist mech only weaponry (if you set a guns reload time to 999999999 it can only be used on mechs) and somewhat hard to kill.
It's also going to be bloody expensive to build (like diamond plated with iron plated with graphine plated with diamond) , and will fill the role that I intended the frigate to fill of the factions ultimate weapon.
You could also design some interesting game modes around such a thing, but you want tanks for that.

Nuke will just be a big missile, actual Flan nukes are not very good, leaves all the blocks as drops and lags everything.
AA is basically three flak barrels strapped together, will act like a flak shell shotgun.
