it's a prawn, prawns have tails, I know what you mean, I was a little hesitant with that as well, but it kind of made sense when I read that it was designed to resemble a prawn like the ones we get here on earth than the alien prawns.

I have tried to reduce the effect by curving it down, but it looks worse, I'm afraid there isn't much to be done here asides from hope that everyone using it has seen Dstrict 9. It makes sense if you know the designers reasons for it, but if you don't...

Also noticed a few bugs with the model, not surprised really, and shouldn't take too long to fix.

I'm also scrapping those black and arctic textures completely, need to alter the texture anyway so I'll do them properly afterwards.

Anyone know if Flan will ever add bendy elbows/legs? The arms sticking straight out gives them a retarded unbalanced zombie vibe.

Not sure, I thought I could get round this with bended arms and just have the guns and tools invisible, but for some reason that makes them stop working. I'll speak to Flam about having 3D co-rods determine the gun positions, then we can have bended arms.

The mech would look so much better with bended arms.

Ok, so while I'm removing the X-wing and the A-144 and putting them in another pack, I am adding the AF-12 back in to compensate, but I think as Flan has made 3D guns, I might as well make one BFG, to be used by Infantry and Mechs alike.

I'm also going to be making a heavier missile model, as the current one is ok for RPGs but I'm thinking of making some heavier missile pods for the Mechs.

Also, for the tank, shall it shoot shells or big plasma bursts, because I might as well sort that out at the same time.

Let's say plasma bursts, and make the ammo be something like 'xenon canister' (Xenon is a pretty good gas to be used for plasma, I think).
After all, we are going for a sci-fi theme.
You gotta make sure to reduce/negate the ballistic arc if there's a config for that, since-although it is scientifically stupid-many people automatically assume any energy weapon flies perfectly straight.

Negating the ballistic arc is easy, I've already done that with all the lasers. And I might as well make the new gun use these plasma bursts, but they won't do as much damage as the tank version. I'll also make shoot the new missiles.

I know I'm suppose to do the AF-12 before all this but when I finish that I'll get all excited and rush a release, probably better to do some smaller stuff and work out the bugs in the process. Also I've finally installed Manus's packages on 1.6.4, and a fair amount is hilariously broken, and I think I can prevent this happening to mine.


Also minor update, Gadfly now flies like a helicopter.

And yes Tinker, that means the Samson can fly like a proper helicopter.
