You know that means it's got no protons in the nucleus, and probably no neutrons either?
So either it doesn't exist, or it's just electrons.

Saphrite: A synthetic sapphire/tungsten composite plating used for windows and armouring unstable ship components.

Me saying beryl has psionic properties is as IRL-plausible as you saying yttrium has interdimensional properties.
Point made.

Yep. So gimme the maths.

Give me the maths on how Yttrium can store massive amounts of energy, produce massive amounts of energy, form the components of ships, bombs, etc. Then we can get Ivan's maths.

Titanic Composite Alloy

A highly advanced alloy consisting of a variety of metals, notably Titanium, but also others such as Iridium, Platinum, and Lithium. The initial alloy is not strong, but after intense radiation baking, it hardens and forms into a nearly impenetrable alloy. Unfortunately, the metal can only be shaped before baking, so the hull has to either be plated or it has to be made in one solid piece.

Baking involves flying the ship next to the star and cooking it like a turkey in an oven. Or a massive ship carrying millions of panels that bakes them.

Yttrium is, on its own, a normal element. However, when you use a special electromagnetic current to line the atoms up into a linear or semi-linear configuration, keep them there with a Yttrium oscillator, then do something funny with electrons, you cause one electron to bump from its outer orbit into the atom, which then creates a tiny kinetic motion, which causes a chain when the atom hits the next one in line. However, the bounced electron is moved by the Yttrium oscillator to a separate area. This can continue until we only have an atom and one electron. The reason we don't do this with atoms with larger electron numbers is simply that they don't have the proper configuration.

As for the ships, it would be a crappy material. It's really brittle.
Bombs is RP science, not IRL. Those are made up.

I also can't give you the specific equations for 3 reasons-
1-I am not a physicist; I don't know them.
B- We use a separate notation. We use base 6, and translating it would be difficult.
III- We aren't good at them. We didn't make Yttrium portals(origin of Yttrium use). We tried, but you ended up with a dimensional anomaly in the Caribbean. All of ours are stolen from other societies we've defeated, who presumably stole someone else's.

Wait a minute... Didn't make the portals... technology based on them...

Plot twist- the ARK stations are the remnants of a long-lost civilization (READ- Ancient Frestorians) who created much of the technology we use today (NeoRome's core, Yttrium portals, Element Zero, Phazon) and now want to kill us because they have been corrupted by Dark Energy (Evil stuff- created by the Chaos guy before he died) that has been seeping into our universe, repeating a cycle of destruction as species discover the ARK stations, use them, and inhabit them, along with the Network, and then they are destroyed when they accidentally activate them. N.C.S.D survived one of these activations (In fact they were there when ARK-1 was built) and is now finding ghosts and such.

Hmm......

Oh wait.
