"I've got them!"
"Ok then lets get the hell out of here. Godth, Trinc! Lets go!"
Jack activated his mic." This is Jack to Sundrowner we need Evac."
"Copy ETA 10 minutes."
"Jack look at that Dropship its crashing."
Jack looked back. It was indeed crashing but he also saw that the mechbay door flew off.
"Expect Survivors people. I got a bad feeling about that ship I swear I've seen that logo before."

OOC Edit: Oh and LS your in a Battlesuit or a 'Tin Can Suit'. Otherwise know as Power Armor.

OOC: Based on the current weight, I'd say medium armor would be about .5 ton, spread throughout so... No. An MG array would pound through you in 4 seconds of sustained fire.

BIC:

Location: Crashed Union-Class Dropship "Goliath"
00:04:20 after touchdown.

Blaze's eyes shot open. "BRACE!" He shouted into his helmet, before he noticed that his comm system was offline, and that he had been unconscious for... four minutes, and that his mech was disconnected from the circular wall of the dropship. Blue flame was on the opposite side of the wall, lying face-down on top of Alpha-2's Centurion, which gave no sign of activity. He activated his communication system.

"Ah god DAMN it! Shit! I'm bleeding! I'm bleeding!" Kakori heard in his helmet.

"Twitch, you're fine." Said Alpha-1. "I see your bio on the heath monitor."

"Oh gods, someone help!"

"You damned idiot, wipe your eyes!"

Kakori looked down at his own team monitor. Karl and Twitch were awake, no major injuries, mechs had sustained minor damage. It seemed Twitch's Commando had a rip in the back torso's armor, easily enough repaired. Ash was still unconscious, but looked uninjured. Only one flatline. Viper was slumped down in her harness, a fair amount of blood covering the inside of her helmet.

Blaze spoke up, "Looks like 2 didn't make it."

"Blaze, glad to hear you're not in a coma. I know about Viper. A shame, really, she was an exceptional pilot. Boot up and come outside if you can." Said Karl.

"Aye."

Blaze restarted his reactor, spun up his gyros and began all the other operating programs.

Reactor online. Weapons online. All systems operational.

He felt the shift in gravity as Blue Flame got to its feet, lifting him up from the pilotless mech below him. He looked around, the dropship had luckily rolled onto its side, placing the open doorway nearly level with the terrain. Twitch was standing just outside, watching Kakori's progress. Blaze throttled forward toward the doorway, stepping over the downed Centurion.

"Looks like my mech's not too banged up."

OOC: I never played Mechwarrior. The tonnage thing of the Glassglow is based in an Anime mech. So i choose medium armor, what i win with that?

Not much, even with error's "ultra" armor (I'm still confused by the armor rating system thing) you'd still get pwned by a light.

If this is 1000 years in the future, the very heaviest mechs should be like 5 tons.
So based on timeline and weight, Mechwarrior seems pretty illogical.
Also, I thought the Futurecraft universe was like 100/200 years in the future?

BIC:
The mechs walked out into the rocky desert landscape.
The sun shone bright and hot over the dark war machines, but it was no major problem as the outer hull absorbed most of the heat.

"I'll take Juan and go do some scouting, see if there are any hostile forces here" the pilot of mech 7 said.
The two scouts then ran away across the hot wasteland, towards a mountain range to the north.
The rest of the group followed, though of course not as quickly. The four assault mechs walked up in front, and the heavy and sniper mechs came behind.

The intercom sparked up. It was one of the scouts reporting their area search.
"The area is safe. We also found a nice place for a base, about 2 km northwest of your current position. There are some predators here, but Juan killed them easily so they should pose no threat"
"On our way, Mike," John responded. "We'll be there in a few minutes."

OOC: I think it was a bit misleading on Error's side to let Medium armored mech to be 10 Tons. Eventually for the sake of logic ad easy comprehension armor and only armor can decide how much punch you can get. The weight is directly effected by what armor you get and cannot effect your survivability. Imagine a giant steel tank that weights like 100 tons with a paper turret ...

BIC: Amy Examined the Maul again after her quick repair session. She liked her mech in prefect condition at all times - not an easy task on this dusty planet. When she was finally satisfied with the results she agilely climbed into the cockpit and took the mech for a test run to a local bar. It was a Terran habit to search for work in bars, only god knows why, probably because of another habit of theirs - getting drunk after loosing a hob.

The mech stopped near the "Lucky Billy" bar. She went to the bartender booth and ordered a drink. "I'm looking for mercenary work out here, got any leads ?" she asked. "Those wastelands ain't the place for you baby ..." answered the bartender "I know how to take care of myself, I just need a job" "Well you can always check up with the local houses for work or maybe some mercenary lance will go and hire you, there are some how did they call themselves ... Zegulians ? Zuguthians ? Anyway they landed nearby looking for trouble, also got other lances running around fighting among themselves.”

Fenway, who had remained conscious from the fall, was trying to reactivate the mech systems. Complete and utter power failure. The bio-scanner was offline, though it had last reported him as online. Therefore, that's what it showed. After unsuccessfully trying manual controls, he opened a small access hatch below him and slid through. He stopped with the fusion power core in front of him. There was the problem- the focusing crystal lenses were completely smashed. He found several spares in the cramped compartment, replaced them, and moved back into the cockpit. He shut the hatch and hit the manual reboot switch. A pause, and then a slight rumble. The screen came online, and it began running diagnostics.

//:Electro-Laser; OFFLINE, minimal damage. Self-repair functions initiated.

//:Right Railgun; OFFLINE, minimal damage. Self-repair functions initiated.

//:Left Railgun; ONLINE, no problems detected.

//:Right Nova Plasma Beam; OFFLINE, severe power damage. Self-repair functions initiated.

//:Left Nova Plasma Beam; ONLINE, minimal damage. Self-repair functions initiated

So the weapons were alright. He ran through the rest of the list. Everything was still working. He engaged the control and picked the mech up off the ground.

After parking the mechs in a circle forming a barrier, the 8 pilots made up a campfire and started preparing some food.
"Finally got the radar and long-range comm systems working" the pilot of mech 6 proudly stated
"The radar shows a small town a few kilometers to the east, you think it's worth checking out?"
"Tomorrow," the pilot of mech 2 answered. "it's getting too dark to go anywhere."
"Rico's right," John said, "It's not safe to travel in the dark. We don't know anything about the planet's fauna, and if there is a town nearby there are sure to be bandits somewhere too."

After finishing the food, the pilots went back to their mechs to get some sleep.
"I'll take the first watch" the leader said. "Rico after me, and then we continue down the list after number. One-hour watches for all of us, and then we go to the town in the morning."

OOC: Ultra armor can take anything short of a nuke. It just slows you down.
Medium armor at 10 tons just means you're only carrying a popgun (no, literally a popgun).

"10 seconds until drop" The cracking robotic voice blurted from Julia's dashboard; lit up brighter than a Christmas tree. "5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Drop." The noise was almost unbearable as the air buffeted bulky mech. "At least the mission is simple enough" she thought to herself. There had been reports of a deserter camp in the remote forest, Julia's lance of 4 simply had to eliminate them; lightly armed infantry that they were. "damn it" she thought, her lance was drifting of target thanks to the storm that had been raging for the past week "looks like were in for a bit of a trek boys" she said over the radio; trying to instil some level of confidence in her voice. "Deploying thrust reverse" the flight computer spouted in its typical incoherent voice. The lance touched down about 3 miles west of the camp, "better start walking she thought".

OOC: Day stop questioning it, you'll mess it up. 1. They have to have some mass or else recoil from their weapons and hits from enemies would throw them around too much. 2. They're made to withstand multiple hits from a variety of very powerful weapons and deal enough damage to hurt other things that are made to withstand hits from those weapons. (also I think we came to an agreement that the FC universe was 400-600 years in the future).

@Error: But if you have 10 tons of standard armor (which would be way beyond anything short of a 50 tonner would be able to carry anyway), you'd be hard to kill but still very, very killable. Make your armor rating proportionate to weight class of the mech, so a light mech would have, maybe, 3 tons with medium armor, a meduim with medium would be around 6, etc. etc.

@Iv: Hah, there's a Battletech canon mech called the Mauler. 90 ton assault that could support your loadout better than the 50 ton.

BIC:
Blue flame's 9 meter tall frame ducked under the top of the doorway, then turned toward Twitch's lingering Commando, which was standing only a few meters away.

"Eh! Don't... point those thing at me." 5 said as his mech stumbled backward.

"3 get up here, I need to sort out what's left of us. Twitch, try to get a message to Orbitals, see if we can get another pilot for Viper's mech." Rattled Karl.

"Aye, comin' up. Can I do a weapons test?" Blaze asked, moving towards where Alpha-1's Zeus stood

"Uuh. Nah. Looks like someone's put up a counter com dome, we have no lifeline."

"*. Oh, well. Blaze, do whatever you want. Weapons free, just try not to attract any attention."

Blaze placed his fingers on the triggers of his control stick, aimed for a rock about forty meters away, and pulled. His pulse laser fired, sending a spear of energy forward that flash vaporized materials in the boulder. Part of it exploded, raining down on the immediate area, the remainder displayed an orange-hot trail.

OOC: At cats I won't change my approved mech with superior capabilities and much better design ( ) with that one.

Also if you didn’t read my passage I do look for some player interaction aka hire me.
