west:

D'laria awoke, shrieking with pain, electricity arcing across his body, the temporal statis in his sunstaff had shorted out. Angry, he hurled the staff to the ground; where it lay in two pieces, sparking and buzzing. s**t. His comms device was in the sunstaff. He checked his radiation monitor. clean. suddenly, he heard a crash; the front wall of an old burger shop had collapsed behind him. Pitiful. he thought. He looked around at the crumbling ruins of the once proud city, and saw a slightly more intact building, once a supermarket to his right. He walked inside, thinking he might find some water. He coughed, blood coming out of his mouth, nano bots he though; the market was infested with them. He realised that his only hope was to enlist the help of the planets population. He howled. "I AM A GOD AMONG MEN!" as if the sky would pick him up and carry him away from this god forsaken place...

@fenway Yeah, this character is part of the race my valyrians worhip as gods, in reality they are mortal though; they live for 10000s of year normally, but are just as easy to kill as humans; they are just Highly advanced.

West

The pod opened. Kashmir tried to step out, and fell to the ground.
"My head..." he muttered. "Where..."
Then the memories started flowing.
He remembered the alarm, people shouting everywhere.
He remembered guards taking him to the cryo chambers, while he protested saying he had to go with his assigned military unit.
He remember the guards putting him in a suit and stuffing his belongings into a locker beside the pod.
Then he just remembered a long, black sleep.

"My kit!" he said to himself, and turned to the locker next to the cryo pod.
He opened it, and took out his medical kit.
Time had worn some functions down, but most of the important systems were there.
"Well, I better find out what has really happened."

<Zero>
...
<Wake up>

...

<ZERO!>

"What?"

<you need to wake up>

"Don't want to"

<it is important>

"How so?"

<Grey's forces have attacked the city, they are closing in on the cryo units>

Zero awoke immediately, his cryo pod had not opened, it hadn't even brought him out of cryo sleep, he had done that on his own, at a great cost to his own energy. He punched through the walls of the pod, boosting his own body through psychic powers, enough to allow him to punch through the pod.

<Zero, stop, you have just blown 80% of your energy reserves, you don't want to be left even more powerless>

"Quite Phi, I cannot let them find me"

<I lied, Grey's forces have not found us, but there is an emergency, the cryo pods are shutting down, ours failed, so I tried to bring you out of cryo sleep manually, but I couldn't, the only way was to make you>

"NEVER, do that again"

Zero climbed out of the cracked cryo pod, once he was on solid ground, he cycled his psychic abilities

Zero mentally lifted a spanner that was lying around

"Telekinesis... Check"
"Telepathy... Check"

Zero tried to manipulate the matter around him, attempting a trick he knew very well, fabricating a blade out of thin air.

The air shimmered, and Zero could feel the blade materialising, but it stopped halfway through and blinked out.

"Damn, Phi, what happened to me?"

South

Ash, after ascending what had seemed like miles, finally reached the surface. He manually overrode the door locks and opened the large door to outside. It jammed halfway through, but it was enough. He stepped out into the blinding sunlight.

When his eyes adjusted, the first thing he noticed was the skyscrapers ahead of him, leaning against each other. A fire was going on between him and it, and the rest of the way was an industrial wasteland. He heard some clicking from his suit. Radiation, great. Add that to the things trying to kill me. And he realized he couldn't leave safely. The main entrance here was raised nearly 50 meters up, or the ground was sunken. A sickly green glow emanated from the sunken pit. He sighed and delved back into the south cryo outpost.

*Making the way to the reactor room,i was a little lost trying to mantain the suit flashlight turned on.Sitting down, a busied myself at repairing the generator. The previous one was an excellent starting point despite its time-worn condition, but I had to make some heavy adjustments to accommodate for the lack of a fusion core. Taking care not to damage anything vital, I stripped out useless connections to areas such as the living room and the several now-vacant rooms that no longer had real use.*

After a long walk, Kashmir got outside.
In the distance he could see the hospital he used to work on, and all around him was empty ship docks, ruins of ships that hadn't managed to escape, and several craters, some filled with radioactive sludge.

"I should probably start looking for other people," he thought to himself. "I'm fairly sure some of the pods down there were opened."

Western cryo

Leais walked down the aisle of dark pods to where he thought the sound had emanated. The Catian was the next in line to be reanimated, she would probably be the most helpful in navigating whatever time-stricken wasteland that lay outside. The light of a freshly-opened chamber shown a little way down the aisle. A figure that matched that of a catian stood, only this was clad in what appeared to be a combat exoskeleton. There hand't been enough time to put the thing on. He continued his approach, but slower and more cautiously, and made sure that he was prepared for any possible violent encounter. Before Violet made himself known, the catian darted through the rows of pods and out of the exit.

He heard a faint voice that appeared to be coming from outside of the facility, then the sound of another chamber opening somewhere else in the bank. After a short wait, a man walked by with a slightly dazed look on his face, carrying a small case, apparently looking for an exit. Leais monitored his progress until he finally found a corridor with an exit. He pushed the door open and climbed the stairs leading to the outside, Violet slipped out behind him, propping the door open with a rock, then climbed the stairs.

Outside, drydocks had crumbled to the ground, several skyscrapers and factories were leaning or had been decimated by war. Violet stood a few meters behind the man, unannounced. It didn't seem like he posed a threat.

"I should probably start looking for other people..." The man mumbled to himself, apparently unaware that there was another person standing behind him.

*I held my breath as I muttered a prayer to any deity that was listening from above me, my hand resting on the lever in front of me. Crossing my fingers, I threw the switch and the generator sprang to life, the lights in the room flickering on for the first time in god knows how long. Letting out a whoop of if joy, I turned around to admire my work.

Then the damned thing started sparking, and in a panicked frenzy I dove for the switch, shutting off the power.

I sat there for a moment to catch my breath before I let loose a string of curses that would make the toughest sailor in the world blush in embarrassment.

"What the hell went wrong this time?" I muttered to no one in particular.Opening the control console, I began to examine the connections and fuses.*

OOC: LS, didnt you use that exact thing in the old rp? Also I need Day or CVN to post before I can, so if either of you read this (preferably Daynel, considering my character is standing directly behind his), I would appreciate it if that were to happen sooner rather than later.

OOC: Yes,but this will progress differently. I just think that fitted perfectly

*5 min. passed*

Jack was let out of the Outpost by Rekn who died shortly after but before he could he told Jack this.

"R.S.E did this to me. Jack it was Delta."

So he raided the Armory and got these my E-gun Bluestar, a backpack, 50 E-mags, 4 water bottles, 5 ready to eat meals, a lighter, a flashlight, a map, 2 batteries, a GPS, a compass, and a medkit. Also full suit of NT Magnus armor. So Jack set out for the Center Cryo Outpost a look of hate in eyes and revenge to be had.

OOC Edit: Magnus Armor is basically SWAT armor and as for 'Delta' he is just a random soldier NPC for me to kill.

Zero searched around, trying to find his was out

"Phi, can you get me a map of the area"

<I can try, all electronics seem to be busted, looks like it was hit by an EMP at some stage, I'm lucky to still be here>

"But can you get a map?"

<No, but I know where to go, I'll show you the way>

"Ok, we need to get out of here ASAP, do you know what happened?"

<Negative, I was active shortly before you were, but I am detecting life forms>

"Hostile?"

<Unknown>

Zero made his way through the maze of machinery and cryo-pods, eventually coming to a large bulkhead, blocking the way

<Zero, this is the exit>

"Looks big, but... I think I can punch through"

<Don't>

But Zero didn't listen, he began to cycle his mental systems, preparing to blast the door with a psychic shot.

"Almost"

"Charged"

"..."

"FIRE"

Nothing happened, save for the few measly sparks that erupted from Zero's fingertips

<Told you so>

Kashmir decided that he would go to one of the crashed ships to see if there was something useful there. It was clear that this post-apocalyptic landscape was dangerous, so weapons and powercells for the suit would be of great value.

He turned around to go back to the cryo and see if anyone else had awoken, and saw a man standing just a few meters away.
"Oh, I had no idea there were anyone else here. Let me introduce myself, I'm Dr. Kashmir Meklar, or maybe medical private Meklar since I was picked out for the military before... this happened. Actually, now that I think of it, my medical doctorate shouldn't be affected by... I'm sorry, am I talking too much?"

Ash nearly tripped when the lights flickered and shut off again. Someone was messing with the generator. He sighed, and realized there was probably a better way of moving around that blindly in the dark. He turned on a flashlight in his suit after thinking about the darkness. He was caught by surprise, but shrugged and moved on.
