Description:

Bipedal reptilians, similar height to humans, highly intelligent, and unique in the fact they they mainly communicate via telepathy, making the species rather valuable for research and for other uses. However the original population of Skytherians was wiped out, the only individual known is the NSCD's subject zero, but cloning experiments are being carried out to try and bring the species back as a whole, there are plans for their re-introduction on CRH-12

The psychic capabilities of the species marks them as unique, however, most normal individuals would not be able to excercise and incredible power, only individuals that have experienced certain events or been modified in certain ways are able to exert any serious psychic force other than telepathy, though currently it is believed that the psychic potential of each individual is enormous, just unlocking that potential is a very different process.

The Skytherians have four fingers on each hand, would be able to operate the machinery of most races.

Currently the only known individual is in the CRH system under protection by the NSCD, and any populations created by the NSCD's cloning will be protected by the NSCD, and treated as citizens, unless they choose to move to other empires

Subtype: Awakened Skytherian

And awakened Skytherian is a Skytherian that has wither undergone rigorous physical and mental training, or been heavily modified. Their psychic capabilities become legendary, there has only been one case of an individual achieving this naturally, and only one case of it being achieved artificially (Subject Zero, believed to have been an alternate universes powerful individual)
Once a Skytherian has become awakened, they become capable of:
Instantaneous transport
Mass telekinesis
More powerful telepathy, and the ability to use telepathic attacks
Some degree of influence over matter, they can "will" matter (and therefore energy) into being for short periods of time (not permanently, because that would break physics)
