The most populous species in the galaxy, humans are hardy, well balanced bipeds, capable of soldering through almost any scenario. They are highly intelligent (though some denizens of the galaxy may insist otherwise) and dexterous, and are prolific breeders, much to the chagrin of other alien races. Specimens have been known to augment themselves with cybernetics to further increase their versatility and damage resistance. The average lifespan is 150 galactic years

Biomechs are a combination of mechanical and biological parts, governed by a very sentient AI. Biomechs vary massively, from small dog sized recon units to humongous ship sized heavy lifting rigs. Many rely on a semi organic nervous system, and either an mechanically enhanced organic brain or an electronic brain. Reproduction is obtained by simply building bodies and inserting a template mind into them, each individual mind developed its own unique personality.
Pain can be felt by Biomechs, as a system to prevent self damage, though they can adjust how much they feel it, but this can be dangerous. Lifetimes can vary from 10 years to a few hundred.

Skytherians are reptilian creatures, with a unique ability in that their main form of communication is telepathy. Each individual posess their own psychic power, though this is rather weak, unless that individual becomes awakened, though this is extremely rare. Skytherians posess a somewhat durable thick skin, but it won't stop a bullet. Skytherians can have their psychic abilities enhanced by specialist implants. They live to an age of about 200. Skytherians are highly intelligent, though due to their empathic abilities, they generally dislike war, although when pressed they will fight fiercely

Measuring only about an average size of about 1 meter, their heads look rediculously large compared to their bodies, as they still feature a brain the size of a human's. They come in many sub-races which, surprisingly, are all interbreedable. There also is a lot of color variation in the fur/feathers of Mobians, and they typically live to 110 galactic years of age.

Alterans are an ancient race of powerful beings who populated the Milky Way Galaxy with humanoid lifeforms millions of years ago. Once, they were very similar to humans in appearance and physiology. Over million of years, with strict laws against genetic or technological manipulation, they evolved into beings with an intimidating level of intelligence, including powerful psychic and telekinetic powers, and a powerful physical form. After a long time, they learnt how to exist as a consciousness of pure energy, with god-like powers. Since then, they have left the lesser races mostly to their own devices, guiding them through inspiration, apparitions, and by effecting chance. They will not get involved directly in any conflicts, and view the other races in the galaxy as "children", and all to be treated equally. However, if they were to ever be provoked, their wrath would devour civilizations and topple gods. They can take whatever physical form they wish; their technology is near limitless (not that they need it with a near complete understanding of the Universe); and they are immortal and nearly indestructible. There are only around 20,000 known to be in existence.

Hailing from a separate, though nearly identical in physical laws, dimension, the Strigiforme are a large avian species. Typically 4-8 meters in height, the Strigiforme possess an extremely nationalistic, xenophobic culture. They are capable of taking extreme damage, even able to survive losing large portions of their bodies due to having secondary vital organs(excluding brain). Strigiformes can live for upwards of 300 years, though they begin to die of old age around 650. Some individuals possess the gene that allows them to secrete highly flammable aerosol in a gland in their upper throat, which can be used to effectively breathe fire.

An equestrian species divided into 4 subgroups and two off-branches, the Equines and Changelings.
Earth Ponies: Stronger than average, but have difficulties at operating complec machines, resulting in machines designed for ponies usually just having one big "on" and another big "off" button.
Pegasi: Weaker than Earth Ponies, but faster and can use wings for object manipulation and flight. Some are even known to have broken the sound barrier when utilizing them to do the latter.
Unicorns: Can use psionic abilities (AKA "magic") in order to manipulate objects, even weaker physically than Pegasi.
Alicorns: Extremely rare, these ponies feature wings as well as very strong psionic abilities, sometimes even strong enough to move celestial bodies, which is important to Equestrian culture, as both the planet Equestria as well as Equestria's moon are in unstable orbits held in place only be Alicorn powers.
Changelings: It is unknown how those insectoid beings similar to normal ponies came to be, but either way, they are capable of shape-shifting, flight and low levels of psionic manipulation. Their Queen is rumored to work for the EE secret service, which denies her employment fiercely.

Anthromorphic ponies. It's a matter of some consternation whether the bipedal species is an evolution of ponies or merely the result of interbreeding, but they possess human like hands and walk upright. Strangely enough, very, very few Equines have been seen to exhibit the subsets their original species possess. They typically live to at least 140 years of age.

The Feles's originate from the planet Humans call Mundum (meaning perfect world, due to the modern utopia-like state of the planet). They are large, bipedal (digitigrade) mammals with characteristics that indicate a predatory evolutionary past. Cupped ears, reflective retinas, and wide pupils are some examples of advanced sensory organs possessed by the race. These senses, along with agility and a thin layer of insulating fur, make the Feles naturally survivable in many environments. When standing at full height, the average Feles stands taller than an average human, at 2.1 meters, and a weight that averages 85 kg. The estimated total population of the Feles throughout the galaxy is between 20 and 25 billion.

A race that was derived from experimentation and desperation, they are the end product of genetic splicing between a human and an old Earth domestic cat. In fact, they still feature retractable claws where human fingernails would be. They typically are the size of a human, but have been known to grow to more than 2 meters in height. Though quick and nimble, they lack strength in the arms, but are able to make up for it with incredible leg strength. Personality varies from person to person, but Catians are generally accepting of new things, and other species. They can live to up to 800 Old Earth years but never exceed that age.

An avian race originating from a galaxy millions of light years away, Tiens possess average physical durability and are somewhat xenophobic. Yet they are a proud race with a strong sense of obligation to their fellows and government, and highly innovative, if not reclusive. Average lifespan is 160 years.

Long lived; around 500 human years. Genetically engineered to withstand temperatures up to 300C, addicted to waves of pure energy from superheated plasma, prone to madness and paranoia thanks to years of inbreeding; but also highly intelligent.
Those too small or unsophisticated to take a large role in galactic affairs.
Anything else?
