Your right, the ship is Big, but she said, that it has 12 missiles and not launchers and that is standard armament of a Jet fighter today. But the beam lasers, yes maybe mid size light pulse lasers would be better and also maybe reduce the drones a little bit.

Mine is weak and holds jump equipment (Though it was not the original intention). Large size justified by the expensive equipment.

Honestly, I thought it was a little under armed, I'll take away the beam cannons and missiles if necessary, but theres no way in hell your taking my fighters or drones. And the missiles can be reloaded, but it's not practical to do so in combat.

Like...my ship can have a micro-jump device. One that give to him a 6 Lightyears jump to scouting and everything. Takes a while to reload and can only transport the Darkstar

The UTFg Uriel is an experimental UTN Assault frigate. The Ariel futures significant advances over the previous generation assault frigates such as the Glorious in core technology. The improved energy core had allowed to increase the ship mobility and firepower due to improved efficiency and capacity. The new core capabilities have allowed to mount the more advanced heavy plasma cannons onto the ship, similar to those on UTN cruisers and destroyers though not at same quantities. Together with the classic front mounted torpedo batteries and the Archer system the Ariel carries significant payload. The Assault configuration however limits this firepower to targets in front of the frigate, making it less efficient in close range engagements. The ship also has 4 AA instalments against fighter threats.

Main weapon: Archer System

The forward mounted Artillery Plasma Cannon has now been complimented with dual lancer beam cannons located on the weapon fins on the sides of the ship. The Artillery Plasma Cannon is a miniature version of the Prime Plasma Cannons mounted on Hyperion class destroyers and follows the same combat doctrine. The gun was designed to engage targets at large distances outside of the enemy's weapon range, for this reason it is harder to aim at close distances. For this reason the Artillery Plasma Cannon was complimented by the Lancer beam cannons. Those Cannons shoot much faster and are well suited for engagement at medium range and also allow the Uriel to perform strafing runs on larger targets, similarly to the UTFg Glorious.

Secondary weapons:
7 heavy plasma cannons
4 AA beam cannons
1 torpedo battery

Special ability: Short Jumps

The improvement in core capacity allows to make multiple short ranged jumps in quick succession.

Iv: Nice ship, you are accepted. But the jump drive is not interstellar and you can only use it four times before you have to recharge. And the artillery weapon needs a cooldown. About one minute or so.

I will delay the RP about 24 hours, so anybody can still join

The drive rather requires short cooldowns between jumps as I initially imagined it. The artillery cannon must do quite a nice DMG than if it shoots once a minute. And also what's about the Lancer Beams that are supposed to shoot faster for closer engagements ?
