[Professor Fenway]

Fenway heard several alarms. The first was one of an incoming, hostile ship. The second was one of an internal critical situation. And the third was of a sudden, unauthorized course change.

He read the alerts. The first was of a massive organic ship. Sensors indicated it outmatched the Ragnarov considerably. The second was that a viral infection had been detected in the primary weapon systems and they had been brought offline before the security system could squash it. The third was that the Ragnarov, and the rest of the fleet, had veered unexpectedly to the left, directly toward a separate exit from their intended one. Fenway opened the plans for the Network, and this particular portal lead to what was known as 'Hell'. This universe was in the process of a Big Crunch. They would be incinerated.

Fenway picked up a communicator. "All ships, this is a Class 5, Code Red emergency. The Network has sent us to what is known as 'Hell'. If we don't exit inside a star, we'll be baked by radiation. Ignore the organic ship! Thermal protection on all shields and ships is to be dialed to maximum! There is no alternative!"

OOC: Fenway knows a lot about the Network. NeoRome had acquired the plans for all aspects of the Network, and how it would function. The plans even included basic access codes, though the PRIME series was given the highest-level control of the network. Each universe has 1 or two ARK stations, each with its own PRIME. Each universe also has it's own Hub, in a location determined by the main PRIME.

The portal system? Think of Myst, where each universe is accessed by carefully defining the attributes wanted. This 'code' is then permanently grafted to a portal which leads to outside the Hub in that universe. The portals existing were created before the anomaly, when they were experimenting with codes. These were recorded, and subsequently discovered by NeoRome. Hell was one of these experiments. Then an incorrect code was used, and the anomaly started... NeoRome had tried replicating the plans for part of the Network, but not on the scale that it really was. It worked in the same way, though, which explains why Fenway knows what to do in the Network.

OOC: Ok, The Virus is now wrapped up.

So what happened is they arrived in Hell, organic ship got burnt, they found and activated a 'reset device', which fixed normal Blu universe, and then everyone was sent off to live happily.

Chapter two will be coming up. This got crazy due to the lack of a planned plot.

Nope. It´s called "Genesis Wave Projector" and is a valid device developed by Dr. Eggman in the Archie Comics and since my EE is loosely based on the Archie Comics universe, we can say that the EE fired the Death Egg II (which it´s installed on) with some kickstarting help from NeoRome (they disconnected it from the power network to prevent someone from using it should they ever board the Death Egg).
Yes, I know that´s some heavy OP stuff there, but whatever.
