SR-71 made a flyby at Mach-4 and has taken 100 pictures. It was definitely a civilization. We will attempt to contact them.

this week is not such a good time, it is the Festival of "Venison" and everyone clogs up the streets and parties for 5 days. Don't ask how it was started, because no one knows and we just don't bother messing with it. it would be safer to send your ambassador in 5 days when the festival is over and the rotten venison is cleaned off the streets.

Production: Viper battalion complete, we are producing a new fleet. (x1 Intrepid, x5 Surprise Fast Attack Boats, x2 Humpbacks, x2 Pilums).
Research: We have improved the aircraft a tremendous amount. The B-2 can now fly around the world in 8 hours, the SR-71 can stay airborne for about 26 hours, the Halos can fly from Vladivostok across the Pacific to former California, the Condors can do the same as the B-2, and the Hinds can fly from Vladivostok to former Guam. We are now working on advanced ballistics.

Projects: A space plane has been developed. It is SSTO (Single Stage To Orbit). It can land VTOL style anywhere in the world, and take off again and fly back to Vladivostok Airfield. It can be launched within a week.

Have you heard of a Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator? It generates heat off of radioactive decay, which is inturn turned to electricity. It counts as fission.

This IS used in satellites, space probes, etc. Fission is NOT too expensive to put on a rocket to space. In fact, it's better than fuel. Fuel weighs a lot, which makes it harder to get to space. An RTG weighs very little and lasts a long time.
