Yes, I now will officially (that's right, for real this time) have my new pc, gpu by thursday. Friday I am off school for the day, and I now own Trinity. I will be on Friday, on my new pc, so I will have to add hamachi then (or evolve :) ). Well, everyone who wants to play be on friday sometime.

I got the Steam deal today @ $6.66

I like Steam, they always have a game I am looking for on sale.

EVOLLLVE

@Pat

HOTS adds units to multiplayer as well.

Although I only paid half of the price, I'm not too keen on it costing 40 bucks either, so I'll concede the point.

Not sure if it will work on a laptop with a core 2 duo at 2.2 ghz, and mobile integrated graphics. I probably have time for a game before Thursday, but no computer. I am sitting here with this little laptop in front of a 27 inch Samsung monster. The resolution is just so bad when expanded I don't use the big monitor.

I am trying to keep this notebook relatively clean so I won't have to totally wipe it again to give to my parents.

I was hoping you'd say that, because that makes it so much worse. For those who don't give two cents about the lore and only wish to play competitive multiplayer, they're obligated to buy the new expansions to be able to keep playing with everyone else, meaning they're literally forking over 40$ for a couple new units and nothing more. At the end, those who are only interested in multiplayer will have to pay all 140$ simply to be able to remain competitive.

That is Blizzard right there. High quality stuff, but at a price, that keeps coming back once in a while. They did have that awesome trailer though...

And the Thursday lineup:

Arma 3 alpha (lite) Gifted from friend

Civ 5- Already bought

Fallout 3, NV and Skyrim

Planetside 2

Who cares? I do!

Can anyone else play Arma 3 though?

I think you'd be surprised what the original sins can run easily on, as long as you don't go making 8-player games with maximum fleet sizes on 150-star maps spread through a dozen star systems. I can run it on my dual-core 2.00ghz laptop, 4gb RAM, and er... can't remember my graphics card info...

Oh, well, eh, I need to do this Spanish thing tonight, and I really want to wait till Thursday. You can show me the ropes Thursday if we are both available, but Friday is the real game, we need all the people on forum who own the game to join. I want a big map game :)

Unfortunately Thursday I'll be working from 3 to midnight, so unless you're available after midnight, Thursday is a no-go.

150 star maps? WHO THE H*** HAS A COMPUTER THAT CAN RUN THAT? The most I ever play on is 5 stars. Were you being sarcastic? Because if you weren't then I'd love to see how big a fleet can get on such a huge map O.o

...er I meant 150 planets over a dozen stars.
Also, there is no computer in the world that can play such a thing because the game is CPU-locked. Even on a 5-star map with the maximum fleet sizes you'd start to see your framerate drop during large battles.

Would it be within moderator regulations to make a big announcement? Well, maybe just for the gaming subforum.
