Destination is too heavily guarded to follow. However, you detect one more wreck the NeoRomans seem to have missed. Once collected, you determine that the piece is from the Myriad, and contains one of the Fusion Coil Splicers! And it still works! You are unable to replicate it (Tech score 2), but it could be very useful...

Brother Ardemir set down in front of the TV ' the riots continue in the streets of Mobius as the newly formed opposition demands the government to hold fair public elections '. He felt somewhat bound by the fact he should remain in cover and yet there was no need in his help anymore. The opposition spread their propaganda even further, now even on the local media. The mob grows impatient though waiting for Kintobor to declare elections.

An agreement was achieved with the Primeran Exodites and a full co-operation in the spacecraft sphere is now in progress. The Exodites will supply technology to our newly constructed fleet while we provide resources for the Exodites. In order to keep up with the demand Ian Velenberg has ordered the creation of a new shipwright. This shipwright will also provide working places for the population, helping the lower class in the union.

"As it seems like the danger from the Taln and Strigiforme is actually quite low, I managed to convince the council of the following solution:
The current Emperor, Dr. Ivo Eggman Robotnik, will be forced to step down and now merely hold the title of "Founder".
The position of Emperor will now be elected anew every 3 standard years.
Any citicen of the Eggman Empire above the age of 18 is allowed to vote if he is living primarily in the EE and is not currently in prison for a time exceding 1 year.
Anyone has the right to vote freely, equally and secretly.
That has been decided by the council. It is very likely that the Court will permit this change of constitution.
Then, it is just a matter of paperwork and setting the date of the election.
Every citizen allowed to vote will get a letter telling the date, time and place of your local election center.
I believe in this being a good step towards democracy becoming more settled in the EE.

<Report on the situation on Mobius>

Ivan Kintobor has announced public elections. From current review of the situation the chances of the opposition to win are high with the support of the lower class. The upper class and the current leadership support Kintobor and are ready to donate large amounts of money to his campaign. Ivan has a chance to convince the public during the debates which will be held soon. He will probably face some hard questions about the terrible social economic situation as well as the instability on the borders of EE.

Transfer more recources to the opposition (AKA The Liberty Front) and order the zealots to continue their work. Concentrate on lower income population. The Zealots should highly help the cause and prevent Kintobor from acquiring more voters.

Statement by Ivan Kintobor about the current election going-ons:
"By now, it seems like there are going to be 4 parties from which one will be able to vote.
The first one would be the liberal party. They want to give freedom to the owners of factories and companies to ensure a high economy. It would be similar to 20th century US of old earth.
The second one is the social party. Those are the people that want the government to support the lower classes to avoid poverty. It envisions a government similar to early 21st century Europe.
The third party is the national party. It consists of people who believe that the EE citizens should keep their national identity. However, it is likely that their goals will be non-compatible with the rules of the Equestrian Coalition which would slow down any progress under their rule.
The fourth and final party is the green party. Their members believe in environmental peservation and sustainability above all. I can´t give you an example of their rule, however, as there were little nations that actually were dominated by such a political movement.

I myself will be the candidate of the social party.

While people on EE have different points of view eventually it all comes down to preservation. Like many other nations they suffered from a long war and now are about to face the same problem again. Not only this but the situation of the common class in EE is quite dare while the middle class is non-existent, classic result of capitalistic approach. Two parties already focus on this problem as the liberal and social parties are concerned with those problems. The national party also puts perseverance as a priority. The green party is non-existent in size and eventually they are also concerned with bigger problems. It would be a mistake for Ivan to try and represent the social party as on the debates he will fall short when faced questions about the desperate social status. A lot of resources went to the maintenance of the robotic army and to the pockets of bureaucrats. The lack of social rights made the common class weak. Social instability is the name of the game. After all, when he will come to the debates with promises of better life, why won't they say - we gave you power once already , we gave you power and you didn't use it, unlimited power.

The debates are held tomorrow. Let's see how well his main opponent the liberation front handles. On a positive note it seems like the EE internal security services stopped searching for my zealots.

Speech by Ivan Kintobor about his political agenda if he gets elected:
You will remember that 10 years ago, Dr. Eggman cought a lethal sickness and was forced to life support.
He gave his powers to me in order to give the nation a leader.
I tried making this a democratic nation, but shortly after I created the council, they decided not to help me in amking the EE more democratic.
Thanks to you, I was able to convince them of holding public elections for all important offices.
Now that a democratic base is secure, I can now adress some important problems we have.
Our nation is devided in four social groups: The Leadership group makes the decisions and has power while getting a lot of money.
I plan on reducing the money a politician gets, as power can already be considered payment.
The second group would be the Scientist group.
Many brilliant minds are in the EE, but there are also some people who actually just got the job because of relations to powerful people.
I plan on making the scientist caste accessable for those who are qualified. Everyone who is qualified and noone else to be precise.
Also, the school system needs a heavy redo. Currently, most schools don´t actually help people get qualifications. Instead, they seem to solely exist for the purpose that representatives of the EE can say "we have public educaion".
There are some schools that are good and give people the qualifications required to take better jobs, but they are so expensive that, if you have the money to get into them, you propably also have the relations required in the current system to get a very well-payed job.
This leads to the creation of the third group: The workers. They have to work under bad conditions and do work that could as well be done by a robot. Due to the "easy" job they´re doing, they get payed almost nothing.
As said, those jobs could be easily replaced by robot workers, so I plan on dismissing this class and giving its members education so they can take proper jobs and can build up a middle-class.
The fourth group would be the soliders. Most people who get the chance to become soliders are happy, as it was, until now, their only way to escape the lower class.

I will give my best to make this a more equal nation, as i wasn´t able to do this for 10 years.
Please forgive me for not making those changes already, but I accidentally blocked my own road.
I have learned from that and promise you that this time, with your help, I will make the changes you have desired so long happen.

Demonstration was held on the council square. Brother Ardemir stood above the crowd reading loudly his speech. "Be no afraid the free people of Mobius as you face a great terror. No it's not the Taln sovereignty who lurks on your doorstep and no it's not the Strigiforme who took your homes long ago, it is the tyranny and corruption ! Have a look at the wealthy bureaucrats who sit in the council and their pocket rulers put to pass their will onto you !" The big crowd was quite effected by the speech. They began to move towards the council building. Seems like the situation is about to escalade.

Thus the Mobian stood up and said:
"The tyranny is over! Why do you want to make a revolution if things are already changing? They are no longer writing acts of enslavement! Now they began writing democracy!
The machinery of rights has been started, but trying to make it run faster will break it!
Reconsider what you are doing! You are about to break democracy!

The mob doesn't listen. It doesn't search for answers, rather for guilty. The mob tries to break through the fences. Brother Ardemir stood there, silently watching - and smiling.

Ivan Kintobor walks onto the balcony of the council building and shouts:
"Listen, citizens of the Eggman Empire! I know you are angry at the members of the Council.
As my last act in full power, I will immediately dismiss the entire council and have them sent to the Roboticizer, forcing them to help fixing what they did.
Until death. Which will take long once they are roboticized. I hope you agree with me that this is a fair punishment.
After that, the roboticizer will be destroyed.

Ivan managed to pacify the crowd for now. His opponents didn't miss this opportunity though. "What you have seen now is the true face of the devil. Just like he sent the members of the council to their doom he can send all of you. Do you call this democracy ? Turn around and you see how he once claims the council held his hands tied then gets rid of them once he doesn't need them anymore "

In the meanwhile the upper class is terrified by this move of Ivan's. They quickly draw their support from his found. They have nowhere to go now. Ivan is no better than the opposition. He can as well force them to their doom in a blink of an eye. Some begin to secure means of escape, others prefer to donate to the opposition and hold speeches in order to prove they are not part of the corrupted elite. With limited founds and the public opinion against him it seems to be hard for Ivan to win this.

So Ivan tell when you're ready for the debates.
