Jedi or Fenway, if either of you could provide casualty lists for the battle, that'd do so our empires can get on with business. I mean, in leiu of a story-based explanation of events.

The Taln ships were mostly destroyed, but one Excelsior and one of the frigates managed to get away. One of Cats's Sentries is technically still alive, but lost nearly 90% of its crew and is only vaguely still a functional starship. It could be repaired, but realistically it'd be more efficient to scrap it and recycle the parts.

And yes, I posted that to be snarky. I'm a Decider. My job is to decide. We've got an entire thread full of people here who like to write stories. That isn't something that I'm good at.

OOC: Novum ships have been moving in on the (currently) unnamed unimportant faction, seeking the ancient technology that was built prior to the Pan-Galactic War. The machine being a glorified teleporter, they believe it to belong to the Gods who have chosen them to be the bearers of their great advancements and that the machine will bring them across the Vast Expanse (any extra-galactic location) to the Home of The Gods (a moderately sized stache of relatively low-tech energy tech. Such as lasers, blasters, and shields), where they will be imbued with the power of the Gods (the tech mentioned in the previous parenthesis). They believe this unknown ancient faction to be their "Gods" because that's where they got the slipspace tech from. This boost of familiar tech will potentially increase their slipspace and weapon capabilities. That's just an if though, they'd still be no match for any major faction. That's one major misconception about the Great Journey (the process through which they will get the tech).

TL;DR: Novum ships are hanging around the fringes of the galaxy, trying to get to a teleporter in the hands of a very unimportant and unnamed faction that no one is with as little casualties as possible.

We have picked up a transmission from a race known as the Prions, claiming to be attacked. It claims their colors to be red and gray, and other information combined with this has led us to believe the Novum are behind this. This cannot be allowed. We still do not know their intentions.

We have declared war on the Novum.
The Seventh Battle fleet is enroute to stop the Novum fleet from destroying the Prions. The Prions must be left in peace. One of their military convoys has been intercepted already.

EDITNOTE: It should be noted that these are the actual specifications for these craft. None have seen the Onesty's autocannons because they're always tucked into the hull so they don't rip off when soaring through a ship.

Wait a second, how does a FRIGATE hold four MAC's? That's impossible given the size of a frigate. I believe it cold hold two at max. It's too much. And the RAM thing seems massive.

It would be more like a giant gun with engines, about the size of a destroyer, than an actual ship. And given your technology score (2) I don't think you would have the technology to effectively miniaturize the weapons to fit on the ships.
