OOC: Essentially I'm explaining why slipspace drives are terrible, because they are. Now, you sure about that? I'm not saying I have any methods of actually defeating you, I just want to 100% you want to make me do this to myself. If you're sure and want to, send some warships in. You'll find a multitude of abandoned colonies and some shipyards that weren't fitted with a slipspace drive laying about. If you're quick enough, you might spot the NPNV Karth finishing its entry into slispace!

OOC: Ah, I see how special technology could fit into the system. A way to decide battles before they've even begun! I doubt you'll be able to do it again for a while, though.

Preliminary reports from an anonymous source within the 4th Fleet report that initial scanning revealed a startling surprise to the would-be conquistadors. The entire sector was abandoned, seemingly just hours prior to the task force's entry into Novum space, with much equipment left behind in their hasty evacuation. Reportedly, engineers from Taln Naval Command's Marine Corps are doing a risky mass reconnaissance of the forgotten war material in hopes of finding functional slipspace technology for use in cruise missile warheads, but not many are optimistic about their chances of discovering anything useful.

Ostensibly the task force will hold position in the system until it can be confirmed that Novum's cities are truly abandoned, but until then the Council has declared martial law in expectation of a slipspace-based counterattack.

After receiving word that Taln would press for an attack regardless of anything else they could do, the greatest tactical minds of Novum came together to formulate a plan to ensure a 59.03% chance of survival of their great empire. They would load equipment onto all ships, and to ensure survival they would prioritize cargo like so: 1) Civilians 2) Experimental Tech 3) Military Personnel 4) Essentials 5) Non-Essentials. Lacking the time to set up slipspace tugs for their incomplete and outdated shipyards, they would be left behind. To make sure absolutely no one discovered their new location, each ship would plot a different course consisting on 5 jumps each into random areas at the edges of effective slipspace range to reach their end goal. They would return to the city-ship of old, where their ancestors lived and fought in the Extra-Galactic Civil War. There they would devote all resources to ship production until a suitable army was amassed. They would then come to reclaim what was theirs. First on the agenda upon reaching destination Alpha-Charlie-Delta-Niner-Dec, would be to fit a slipspace drive on the ancient Maximum Caritas.

The trade continues between Primeran Exodites and the Terran Union. The Union is mostly interested in technology while offering minerals to the Exodites. The government keeps investing in the peacebringer project, preparing the zealots for their great mission

Although the Terran Union can't unlock the full potential of Exodite technology without our experience in bending physics, I have a feeling that this allianceis going to be very beneficial.

With the newfound influx of resources, we are beginning construction of a flagship dreadnought.

NeoRoman News Update:

We have achieved sufficient funding for the terraformer and have begun construction. The individual pieces are being assembled all over our space and then transported there. This will ensure maximum construction speed. Due to the massive cost, each shipment and the Terraformer itself will be protected by the NeoRoman 3rd Escort Fleet, consisting of 4 frigates, 3 destroyers, a cruiser, and a battleship.

The Cavnin Nation shows intrest in drones, and the president orders research on them. Plans are to incorporate them into every ship possible

For the purposes of 'maintaining internal security', the Consulate has mandated the construction of two new fleets via the massive Century class shipyards orbiting Hiigar, with estimated completion hovering at a mere handful of weeks for the 10 Pathos class Light Frigates and half dozen Excelsior class cruisers being worked on within the planet's extensive manufacturing facilities.

In addition, a Sovereignty-wide draft has been instituted to snatch up able-bodied Tiens to man the new ships. Many within Taln's sphere of influence fear that its leaders may be grossing up more war material in preparation for the instigation of a conflict, citing that it may end much bloodier than its serendiptuous conquest of Novum space. Anonymous sources within the military claim that the neighboring Terran Union might be a prime target for a surprise-attack.

The Equestrian Coalition is declared an official alliance by the Eggman Empire.
The Eggman Empire serves as the head of operations.
The Cavin Nation is second in command and responsible for maintainance of the EC thread OP.
The Eyronian Contigent doesn´t have a clear role yet.
"Agent Changeling" holds the position of <restricted>. [for clearence, M6 security access is required]
Other members are welcome, but have to go through a questionaire related to Equestrian culture.
Excluded are members of the Robotic coalition or the Owl movement, especially those wearing the "Anti Brony Brotherhood" badge.
