"In order to combat threats within and without our empire, we have decided to form a new Patrol Fleet. The Kysatr Advanced Patrol Fleet, with more than double the standard patrol fleet's ships, will be the direct eyes and ears and talons of the Councils and our Leader. Where they go, the Council watches. Not only will they protect our realm, they will also diffuse problems within our systems and pre-emptively solve problems in other regions. They will be equipped with our finest, commanded by Admiral Kysat the Broad-Winged, Hero of the Yygt Nebula, for whom the fleet is named. This fleet is expected to be complete in a matter of thirteen Standard Galactic Annuals."

In other news, the Strigiforme K'lii is at a rate of 0.3 per credit.

Upon receiving the news that the Taln have declared war on Novum, the Novum decide it best to send an unarmed diplomatic ship to the Taln in an attempt to avoid a conflict which Novum Paradigma doesn't need right now due to the resource stress it would cause. ((And the other fact they only have 2 half-capacity battleclusters.)) And although they hope to achieve peace, the Novum are prepared to start mining of the Episiduary asteroid belt in their second system for ship materials. Which they were going to do anyways at a later date.

Essentially: Novum wants to find out why Taln declared war on them and see if an agreement can be reached. But they're prepared to up their mining schedule in order to boost ship production in the event it fails and war ensues.

To decide effectively, I will take into account the size of each force, coupled with technology and military, as well as social depending on the territory it takes place in. Social helps, you know, propaganda, militia, etc. But not that much. I will do kind of round things, where each side does stuff till won, given the stuffs. Jedi can also decide, especially for me.

I will also be having a diplomacy section on main page with current alliances, wars, trade agreements, etc.

Cavnin Nation News Update: Several research and military vessels have been sent throughout the stars of the Earth constellation, Cygnus, in hopes of find at least somewhat habitable planets. The star Deneb has been pronounced as a possible new settlement.

What i've herd from ivan, It's Fine

The Cavnin Nation Accepts Alliance proposition, And is sending a defense group of Starships to the EE for further instruction,
This Group consists of, 9 Sentry class defensive cruisers, and 18 Leopard class destroyers.

Now that everypony in the group is here, Ivan i'm putting you in charge of the alliance, you are essentially CEO. I am still founder an leader, but you will be handaling most of the alliances actions.

The joint economic venture is the creation and maintainance of the UBF.
It´s your time to contribute, or you won´t be made part in the decisions of the Equestrian Coalition.

I believe economy strength on both parties will determine benefits, if accepted. I will impartially determine stuff like that.

Also, I am thinking about random events. These will be decided by me or Jedi, and will affect one, multiple, or all factions. Things like disease outbreaks, wormhole opening, stuff like that. They may be both beneficial and detrimental. I like the idea, but I don't think people will like the random nature of it. Give thoughts.

It will not be things like ship explodes, lose dreadnought, or those things. It may be like, "Reactors deemed faulty and prone to exploding!" where you choose what you do. Based on your decision, depending on the event, it has different outcomes. Ignoring the warning means that some ships may be crippled due to reactor failures. Replacing them guarantees their safety, but grounds your fleet temporarily as the replacements are made. Fixing it does neither, but as it is being fixed ships are slower, shields are weaker, weapons weaker due to decreased energy output.


NeoRoman News Update:

After discovering large amounts of Titanium on the inhospitable planet Omn IV, authorities have authorized a Terraforming venture to make the planet more suitable for mining operations. The atmosphere is rife with Bio-Toxins and Acidic compounds, capable of dissolving many known alloys. Although shielded settlements have existed for years, it was deemed unsuitable for mining until these deposits were found. The Terraformer will remove these compounds from the environment. This is a massive venture. Investments are being taken from in and out of empire, for a piece of the resulting mining profits.

Taln's 4th fleet has been positioned beside the boundary between Novum and Sovereignty space in preparation for a drawn out military campaign. An influx of support ships are still making their way to the rendezvous point, but if all goes according to plan the task force will be ready to move out within two interstellar days. No reason has been given for the sudden hostilities, though one might consider the caveats of a working slipspace drive to Taln Naval Command.

Random events are terrible if they aren't being decided in such a way to be 100% even, and that just isn't possible with human influence. Bad idea.

You can't jump within 1 lightyear of a system because if you tried to jump into a system what would most likely happen is you'll end up somewhere that isn't the best place to be, such as: too close to a star, in a star, too close to a planet, in the atmosphere of a planet, in a planet, in the gravity well of a gas giant, in a gas giant, in an asteroid belt, in the destination. Really nothing any normal person would want. I don't even want it, but ripping a hole in space and shoving a ship through it into an 11D parallel universe occupied by pretty much nothing then ripping a hole in that to shove your ship back into our 4D universe was just too cool an idea to give up in any way. But if you insist, I'll tell you my "amazing" strategy to avoid losing everything in my response post to your invasion.
