Note: The Gerengi are just kind of there, they won't do much in the RP other than the occasional individual making an appearance in a TSRFM page.

Gerengi Remnants

Short History/Description: The Gerengi have been wandering the galaxy for slightly less than two centuries. They were once quite a powerful interstellar nation, but the population was decimated during the Pangalactic War, despite their claim of neutrality. The war forced them back to their homeworld, Yhul, and served a distraction from the looming threat of Hareng, the system's dying sun. Shortly after the war, Hareng's emissions and size began to threaten the biosphere and livability of Yhul. The Gerengi were forced into a mass evacuation, taking cataloged life of their now-scorched home and loading what was left of the fleet. The highest priority of the Gerengi is preservation and eventual recreation of the extinct life of Yhul.

Empire: The Cavnin Nation

Short History/Description: No one really know for sure how the nation actually came to be, but there is a story to it. It is said that the nation was formed when a group of human rebels left the Terran Hierarchy when they started taking over much of known space. The rebels stole many a military hardware, the rebels ran for the nearest know habitable system, Kepler-22, The rebels were forced to fight back on there own turf, so scientist tried to genetically engineer the agility of the domestic house cat, with the intelligence of a human. The result brought rise to two new species, Catians (Cash-E-ans) and Ninjins (Nin-jins). (The details on how Tarran humans reacted are not known through the story. It is also not known what became of them.) Although it has been proven that one species is smarter than the other, this has been marked as the highest priority secret, and only a handful of people know. The Nation's Military and Tech are extremely advanced and is taken very seriously by it's people after decades of war. There FTL tech consists of two drive types, The first one, Hyper Drives send the ships at many times the speed of light scramble the ships molecules, also allowing it to pass through solids, used for travel inside solar systems. The second, Jump Drives literally teleport ships from one place to another, used for travel between solar systems and for advanced ones, even galaxies. While there economy is not very strong, the social aspect is very high. The population of the Cavnin Nation is not as big as other races and empires because they only live in one system.

The technology is in fact difficult to make. It's not about making Sentient AI's with personalities similar to the people, it's about uploading a person's essence into a computer bank, so they are essentially completely part of the network. The difficulty is in analyzing one's brainwave signatures and neuron patterns, which are unique to every being, and being able to replicate that and all of their quantum states into it, preserving their thoughts, personalities, memories, even reviving memories once thought loss. It was in use decades prior, but until then, it was very dangerous and prone to exploding.



Economy is a measure, on average, of your economic capabilities compared to the galactic market. An empire with 8, for example, is very strong and able to buy many items from the market. A positive flow of income for them is guaranteed. One with 3, however, isn't too strong, and may run into financial and funding issues due to inadequate money.

Both of Catsonmeth's empire thingies are accepted. Catvsninjas accepted, but I changed special tech to Advanced Disruption Warheads.

Please update your original post according to the new system number guidelines.

If "size" meand the ammount of colonized systems, the actual size of the EE would be 1, as it only has people and stationary military presence in 4 systems.

We still need some incentive to jack up empire size, because the way it stands it doesn't really affect power at all.

Size is not only a measure of colonized space, but empire influence as well. Influence being cultural, economical, military. Such as trading outposts, broadcast stations, factories outside the empire, military stations, etc. Now it affects everything, to a degree.

Also, I am taking suggestions for the standard currency. I currently have it as Credits. We need some other currencies too. And also provide some sort of material backing. So, for example, 1 credit is equal to a bar of gold (gold isn't rare anymore).

Maybe I should have put that in the application... too late now.

I think that size influences other things. The size determines how big your fleet and army can be, how fast you build things, economy scales with size so bigger size means the economy has more influence.

Most actions are influenced by several factors.
I also think that the numbers represent a value in relation to the other ones.

That means, you have a small area that is heavily guarded by warships and other stuff.

Thus, the stats mean more accurately the following:

Technology: The advancement of your technology; further research gets speeded up by economy and social; if you have high military, you get an extra buff for military research

Military: the density of your forces and the faction of your money that goes to the military; technology allows you to use more advanced stuff in your ships; economy increases the rate at which your military can grow and the maximum size you can maintain at all; High size also increases total military power.

Economy: A high economy allows for more actions in general, and in combination with other high stats especially; general boost if social is also high

Social: The ammount of population in your country and the effectivity of their work (due to species or other). High economy gives a buff for stability.

Size: Your area of influence. High area means you can spot incoming enemies earlier, have more space to evacuate your people to. While this value is buffes Military, military counterbuffs this value.


PSedit: The EE uses standard credits for trade, but also accepts other currencies if the trade is good enough.
