I also have a bukkit server with 1.6.4 but I was trying to get it up to the latest version possible, so we have more blocks and stuff to work with.

Minecraft is useless after Beta 1.8

1.6.4 would probably work best, there really wouldn't be much use for the newer blocks.

Are you forgetting what happened to Mack's build during the sci-fi contest?

Utter Heresy.

I am not going to partake in another PMC contest.

All that happened was that mack broke the contest rules by using a different map because his build was too big, and this is explicitly stated in almost all the planetminecraft contest that you must use that map.

If push comes to shove, I trust Vin not to royally fuck up a server; and while the newer versions are... eh, some of the blocks do have sufficient pretty to be useful. Maybe.

Also, some generic manufactory with tons of pistons, coal, furnaces, and shizzlewizzle sounds gud to me.

That's not what annoys me, several other maps broke rules and weren't penalised. Hell even some of the finalists broke them.

That and they waited until after the deadline to dq him, and I know for certain judges had been using the map for a long time prior.

Can't built for shit, but I'll join, assuming the server will be open to people who haven't been able to legit buy minecraft.

So after setting up a sever on 1.8 I go to port forward and an error comes up, and after some research no one else has had. So Vinyl if you can please host the server and map.

Come on, Daynel. Piracy has been against the rules (both of the forum and the world) for a long time. You've been a member for years, so you've clearly spent a ton of time with MC; can you really not spare the $26.95 to pay for the development of the game that's kept you entertained for this long?
