I used railcraft a little too much, loved firestones, blast furnaces, and coal coke furnaces. -Along with chunk loaders and metals chest.

But it doesn't bother me too much that it is gone.

And I've had to cut mods out to save performance. Railcraft was the least used, least favourite mod. So it was first to be cut (after zombie awareness). MFFS has had to go as well, various bugs and removing it means we don't need resonant engine anymore.

Railcraft only really has tunnelers. But meh, A pickaxe was faster anyway.

Well, don't forget all the colored glass railcraft adds. Don't underestimate that.

The detailing blocks it adds are useful for us, but not for the average player.

Removing it means I basically have to remake my moon base.

It's getting removed. This isn't just a case of "add as many cool mods as you want". I need to account for performance and gameplay, and railcraft does neither a huge favour. Not a bad mod, but we don't need it.

Unless of course Sara wants to learn Java and figure out how to make a colored windows mod/rip out colored windows for single use/make rail craft performance friendly.

Ask yourself, though, Tell: do those mods punch the server performance in the face?

Railcraft (plus MFFS and a few others) give me a five-minute load time and a 50/50 chance of crashing upon server join. As you can understand, this is Not Amusing.

Really, I'm with proto - performance first, pretties and funsies afterwards.

Wellll... I cant really find a good use out of minechem honestly. The features I wanted it for are broke. Like, cyanide apples aren't able to be eaten, and you cant put the chemicals on tools anymore. The radioactive stuff isn't even working anymore. I ran around with uranium for 5 minuites, even pouring it on myself had no effect.

But some other good features about it still is the drugs. Can make cocaine and get speed & strength from it.
