Though I'd try and better my texturing skills, so for the next however long I can be bothered to do this for, I'll be making a player skin a day as practise, trying different techniques and stuff. Most will be megaman related, you probably already knew this, but I'll try and do some originals here and some other stuff.

Those guys are not quite suited to be MC skins, especially not Omega.

I'm aware of that, that's partly why I'm doing them, they aren't easy to fit into a MC skin. They actually look a lot better in the new skin format (which I can't display), with the exception of Omega which still looks *.
@ACH these aren't really FC skins, more whatever I feel like making

None of the things you're trying to make skins of translate even remotely well to Minecraft. It's like asking someone who only speaks German to prepare your Korean->Swahili language textbook for marketing in India. That's not a reflection on your skill as an artist, just on the designs you're picking to recreate.

Oh I know they don't translate well, I just find it interesting to see how much I can actually translate. Most of the time it fails miserably, but I have seen someone do the head features on Craft pretty well.

I have no memory of this skin...

The Villagers took over Mojang's skin server.
The Villagers have taken over Minecraft.
All hail our new villager overlords!

Well I had the bright idea of entering the palette battle league, where you have to make a skin using only set colours.
This is what I have to work with:

And this is me attempting to see how many bananas I can put into a single skin:

So many missed opportunities there.
All hail the Will of Vanu!

I'm not totally happy with that, but I think it's OK for the amount of time I spent on it. A Sangheili Minor would also have been acceptable.

Shit I forgot about Vanu... I'll see what I can do there.
Sanghelli minor bad idea for the same reason as all the megaman skins (except maybe Craft)
