Since I am 1/4 German *, would I salute horizontally?

Can we please stop the stupid politics? I want a month without you mentioning Nazism, fascism, communism, or any other crap. This isn't funny. It's just sad.

One Q though LJS - Where the hell do you see politics in this topic ? Not a single political view has been stated here, you politiophob ! What’s bad with political topics anyway ? As a matter of fact every single political topic ever written on this forum went better than 2/3s of the idea threads. You should learn to stop fear topics just because they "talk politics" or "talk religion" , people want to talk these things there is nothing that keeps them from doing so, in fact they know how to do it very well here without offending each other. The stigma that those topics cannot be discussed on the internet is BS.

For a matter of fact, the age group born during fascist rule is the most racist in Austria.

Politics is boring though, but other than that I see no wrong about discussing it as long as shouting, threats or warfare isn't involved in the discussion.

The short form, Iv, is it leads easily into to arguments and is one of the Big 3 Bad Topics.

1. Politics.
2. Religion
3. Signifcant Others

are the THOU SHALT NOT SPEAK OF topics, unless everbody talkin' is ok with it. And given tbe wildly differing political views on the forum, arguing is inevitable, and gives me a bloody headache.

You don't ban topics just because they give you a headache. As I said it is a proven fact that politics here almost never lead to heated arguments, unlike the ideas thread.

Well, Iv does have a point. Political threads are quite peaceful here.
Or have you ever seen anyone here insult someone because of political opinion?
