Good Things Come

I have gotten hooked on what is probably my favorite fanfiction right now. It is a shipping story between Luna and a human named Owen. The story is very fun and starts up quickly. It is an on going story and I think there will be more chapters coming out.

I think you mean sapient. Sentience is basically just self-awareness, whereas sapience is the ability to act upon that awareness effectively (legible communication, etc.). Sapience is somewhat vague in its definition, and there are many ways to define it, but it's still quite distinct from sentience. Cats and dolphins, for example, are sentient but not sapient.

I can't think of a series/author that uses 'sapient', and I've read a lot of stuff. 'Sentient' is used everywhere.
