The country is turning into a dictatorship, protesters are getting killed, people are set on fire, and everything looks apocalyptic.
There's an honest-to-god revolution going on down there.

To be honest I understand the current government, they just said the sad truth in the face of the people - We join the Europeans, the Russians cut off our money and we die poor, the Europeans refuse to support us with their money so there is not really a choice here. As for the rest of the situe there it is just a side effect of the way Ukraine is built. There are two sides to Ukraine: The Eastern side who would eagerly join the Russians simply because they have a Russian majority there and the Western side who would eagerly burn the Eastern side together with Jews and any other stuff they meet in their way. What you see now is simply this conflict manifesting itself as a result of the "Euro-Crisis". I dunno if I trust the Eastern side simply because some of them parade in "Beat the Jews" shirts, not because Im Jew BTW but because I question their intentions.

Here in the EU the term "Euro-crisis" usually references to the currency problems they create in countries like Greece.

Doesn’t matter, in fact both are related to each other, Europe doesn’t need yet another country to suck up on their money reserve.

It's been on /int/ for at least a month now, Putin is solidifying the Imperium. I watched a livestream yesterday, looked about the same as Egypt did a few months ago.

There is no point to even talk about Egypt and Ukraine, even the Arab protests themselves had almost nothing in common with each other and you want to link a totally unrelated country to that ... and it is not nearly as bad as it was there.

Well all protests look similar.
