Best name I ever had was the original name of the Beluga class, the HMS dumpingbird, and no I didn't choose that name, but it stuck.

I use hybrids of latin, generic names, and some other assorted stuff.

I mean, CWFG Kiss My Ass just doesn't have the right ring to it.

I name my ships after "famous" gamers, places (fictional or otherwise), or whatever is floating around my brain that isn't obscene.

The first mention of the LJS Kiss My Ass was on Sunday, August 12, 2012, in this thread. I have well and truly beaten you to it.

EDIT: My favorite name on that list is Mistake Not My Current State Of Joshing Gentle Peevishness For The Awesome And Terrible Majesty Of The Towering Seas Of Ire That Are Themselves The Milquetoast Shallows Fringing My Vast Oceans Of Wrath. This is why I argued against length limitations in the ideas thread for ship names on the old forum.
