Not happening anytime soon due to the hardware needed to process, but pretty cool.

Further and further, didn’t you notice that people care less about graphics now ? For it's not the graphics it's the game mechanics themselves and maybe the unique aesthetics of it (like minecraft for example ,even though the vanilla textures are kinda boring the different texture packs really bring to light the beautiful aesthetics of MC). There are more and more indie devs that do not try to achieve realism but use clean art style and advanced game mechanics to drive their game forward.

That is incredibly unnerving. I just can't wait until we have whole games with this level of graphics.

Sure, it may not be about graphics. But still, this is very impressive.

In any video game, graphics AND story is important. If we are to have virtual reality, we must have graphics as realistic as this. Then it really blurs the line between gaming and reality, and you could really immerse yourself in the world fully as if it were your own.

Ah, the possibilities... hold on, I need to go dream of the future again.

The turning point between graphical quality and processing power was crossed a while ago. From here on out, every graphical improvement is going to be hard fought and come out slower. Maybe eventually they'll have to focus on gameplay to sell new titles.
